Hey All,

I'm on Day 44 of my seconde grow and have run into a issue, I'm very much hoping someone can help.

I'm using:
7L Fabric Pots
2*1000w 1*800w LED
4 Plants

I've tapered the Biobizz Grow nutrients I was using for Biobizz Bloom. However over the past 3-4 days the lower leaves turned yellow and died. I'm feeding 1ml CalMag, 2ML Bloom, 1ml Topmax however when this issue occured I decided to use a plain water feed before turning off the grow.

Today I noticed this has also started happen to middle and some extent upper leaves.

Can I ask is this part of the grow cycle ? Or should I have not shutdown the grow this early?

Thank you in advance

Your plants are speaking to you, and they are saying they hunger. I personally will allow my plants to consume their leaves for nutrient, as this is what happens in nature. On day 44 you probably stopped a bit too soon. I like for my plants to ravish themselves towards the end. Lower leaves yellowing and dieing is very normal, as these are older leaves, it is when it spreads to upper leaves and newer growth it obviously gets more concerning. I think I would begin feeding again, light feeds, and ride it out at this point. You are not too far away from finish.....in my grow style I tend to let my plants draw from their leaves I personally don't defoliate much, as I see the fan leaves as food banks.... I also believe if the plant is consuming itself for food, the final product tends to have a better taste, as opposed to chemical nutes feeding like crazy. Good luck.

I’m probably not the best source of info on here but I’ll give you what I feel is the best advice right now.
Go to the infirmary section, start a thread there. There is a template to follow if you want help. Follow it, and you will receive the best possible advice! In the meantime if you’re ever looking for advice on your plants always be sure to post pics of the plants in natural light and not the blurple as people won’t be able to see what is actually going on. Also you mentioned how much you’re giving but didn’t specify if that was per litre, per gallon? If it’s per litre I’d say that could be a bit strong if you just gave them bloom for the first time and may have shocked your plant. As for switching to bloom from veg nutes... no issues doing that. You’ll come to see that many don’t even use grow/veg nutes here on their autos...good luck and sorry I couldn’t be of more assistance! Sooo in closing... infirmary, follow the template and give all info the template asks for and take pics in natural light.

Dude I just breathed the biggest sigh of relief ever, thakt you! Atleast I know for my next grow.

Sorry to be cheeky but would you recommend feeding water for now on, or shall I restart with nutes from next watering? I think maybe I got around 3 weeks to go?

Dudette……..…….. heh..

I would restart the nutes, now the plant will probably continue to fed on itself, by restarting the nutes it should slow the spread, but may not stop it, as some of this is what is suppose to happen in a auto's life cycle. Use this as a learning data point for your next grow. I would rather be in this situation then say too much nutes and nute burn, which I have done in full bloom and had a Mephistio Crème de la Chem just totally shutdown and checkout on me. I am a very experienced grower but even with that still have things that go wrong or growing fails so to speak.

I know you’re asking someone else, but I’d start feeding with bloom ASAP... even if you have 3 weeks left you’re going to want to feed them for 2 of those weeks for sure.

Hello...:vibe:......I feed right up until flush and agree you should start to feed again, they are in a crucial bud building phase and need the feed lol:crying:...another couple of things I saw in your grow pics...open to debate obv haha:rofl:......the fan behind...how high is it set and does it oscillate?.....might be wind burn from that....also, you are using A LOT of wattage lol....might it be burn from them?.....just a couple of ideas....hope they help:yay::yay:

Oppise Dudette* :D

Thanks again! I've actually made notes every day this time around. The first attempt was a collosal failure so if I get something smokeable I'll be happy!

Hey there,

I'll give email some food withthe next water, I think I panicked to much when the yellow leaves started popping up rather than just stick with it.

I'm using COB LEDs? I'm not quite sure what that means however I'll take a look into what to much light is in a tent. The two 1000w cost me £100 each and looking at reviews from England the guy makes legit lights

The 800w was £70 ( this is a shitty Amazon one )

Fan is pretty powerful but not to much , most the wind actually goes over the top of the plants so it's not concrentrated on them.

Thank you ! ;)

Noted and will do!!! Let's hope I didn't ruin them :(
