This is a response to the question you asked me about my 2 ft T5 (4 lamp) from HTG SUPPLY.
I didn't use it full time as a primary lamp, so I don't think I can comment too much on it unfortunately.
I did however use it as side lighting once my LED light came in the mail, and I saw a very very big difference with the lower bud sites during flowering when the 2700k bulbs were put in. I would have the light hung vertically on the side of one plant, and turn the plant every so often.
What I can say is this - your pics above look very very good. Nice and happy and green. Nice thick main stem - and you can really benefit with that LST using CFLS. I would say this - Its coming along nicely for you. I certainly wouldn't steer you away from the T5 I got at all - I just cant offer a lot of advice on it because I didn't use it as a primary Light. I am most likely going to run it to start my sprouts for an out door grow this spring.
See how this grow goes, and if you like the results, it cant hurt to try it out and add it in. Maybe you can run a 2ft 4 lamp T5, and still use your cfls as side lighting... I have seen some amazing grows with t5 and cfl.
