Lighting 3 Sour Cracks in 1/2 gal pots under 2 Autocobs

This looks like fun, if you don't mind I might pop in now and again...............my only concern...............PINK !............didn't they have any other colors

eP.
I have some purple too. I don't care about the color of the pots, but I do like saving money! 2 for $1 is cheap, and I have reused some a couple times now, they clean up like new.

I'm with you all the way pal. That is one heck of a bargain compared to the equiv Airpot.

Are you using reflectors for the two cobs? I am currently running a test of three plants under two cobs no reflectors. I use reflectors when I use one cob for one plant such as the other two I am growing as well.

These "pink mini trash baskets" are 2 for $1 at Dollar Tree. I saw them more as cheap Airpots and have been having very nice results with the small size. I have a few different strains going right now in these, it is the only way I can keep plants from getting larger than I want. Using Coco plants do very well in smaller containers.View attachment 795406

Sounds like fun can't wait to see it get started I'll be following along. I'm stepping down to 1 gallon pots just because I've never tried it plus it feels like my roots never take up the whole space in bigger pots. They should stay short and easy manage I'm just worried of getting root bound. I'll be using 50/50 perlite and soil to keep it nice and airy. Grape crinkle stay relatively small anyway.. Good luck and happy growing!

Day 4, everything looks fine. I have been busy, and will take pics tomorrow of them on day 5. I will be trying my rings with Emitters, hopefully they work well. If not, drip stakes will be used. I am cleaning the pump, Rez, lines, etc now...they will be ready to hook up tomorrow night.

Ran the new Drip line rings. I will now hook up the pump and fill Rez. I have a feeling the flood times may be different. I think longer, but we shall see. I am cleaning the other white bin, they each have their own. I'm excited to see how they do.

Do you have any filters on the setups you run? I just put in the blumat filter. It's clear which is foolish but I was able to see a thick green slime layer covering the entire filter and housing in days time.

It is green because it is clear, that will cause algae. I don't use a filter, but I do clean my pump a couple times during the grow cycle. I will go see how they did last night, I used same schedule as drip stakes were on to start, but will adjust as needed.

Well I watched the drip rings a few times and they were all dripping differently. The furthest one was actually doing the best. The closest wasn't barely dripping. So I unhooked the rings and blew into them to see if they were restricted. Sure enough the first one was pretty much blocked. So I said screw it, and hooked my drip stakes. If I am having issues on day 1 with the rings, I don't want to even bother. The drip rate was slow anyways.
