Lighting 3 Sour Cracks in 1/2 gal pots under 2 Autocobs

Thanks for the offer, man. I'm planning on hand-watering in 1-gallon smart pots to start with and (ideally) making a switch to drippers not too long after, so I'm sure I'll have something to bend your ear about before too long. :smoking:Looking forward to the experiment!
Btw, what strains and how many you doing? Good luck

Two Double Grapes right now, staggered about 2 weeks apart, and considering popping a Beary White, but will probably be waiting til I can get set up in coco. Not too sure I like the Growstones I'm using in my hempy buckets now.

I see people using them. Are they like perlite rocks?

They're marketed as an alternative to perlite. It's made from recycled powdered glass mixed with something else (some form of calcium - carbonate, maybe?) that makes it foam up, then it's cooked in a kiln and broken up into chunks. Supposed to be more porous than perlite and the roughness is supposed to promote more aggressive root growth, all while supposedly being more reusable. So far...I got better growth by far from my first hempy plant which was in perlite/vermiculite. The Growstones have to be rinsed and PH'd before use, and they do break down, just not as quick as perlite - but when they break down, it's essentially sand, and kind of a pain in the ass to rinse/reset the medium for the next run.

Just use 100% Coco.

A few days later...

BTW, I have been leaf tucking and lightly plucking. They are growing faster and getting more full, so I will thin the leaves slowly. They are stretching a little, and I will be upping the feed today. Will update pics in 4-5 days.
