Lighting 3 Sour Cracks in 1/2 gal pots under 2 Autocobs

This looks awesome, love the idea of using smaller pots. I'm just starting a grow using 9L airpots (smaller than the 15L autpots I'd used previously) but maybe I can go even smaller in the future. I'm also using Blumats for the first time (in coco) and was wondering about when to start them dripping - I notice @slowandeasy you seem to start quite early, in my autopot days it was hand water a few times up to day twenty and then turn on the res, but maybe doing drip irrigation you can start sooner?

You can start them in 7-10 days because they are in small containers and it is top fed. I personally wasted a ton of money on AutoPots. I prefer top fed vs bottom. But the Airdomes are the best part of the AutoPots.

Thanks! I did Autopots for awhile but got a bit bored, I think I need to see something happening when I look in the tent. At least this way I'll be able to watch the drops...

Thanks, that is a little drying tent I had not being used. So I have been doing micro grows in there. 3 Sour Cracks is Max in that small area. I was going to try to lollipop some, but they naturally grow to the size of that area without training. I know what they typically yield, I should get 5-6oz dried in that space. Not bad for such a small space and minimal watts.

No kidding and it sounds like its a fairly easy grow too. Im setting up my bigger space and another 5x5 tent soon as temps drop a little more. Id love to copy this grow setup

Do 6 Autocobs in the 5x5 and you could do 16-20 Sour Cracks in small pots. Average 2oz each. 32-40oz dried with 330 watts in a 5x5 tent...not too shabby. The beauty is they finish fast as hell, so you can turn that 5x5 over every 8-9 weeks from seed. I have been growing forever...but NEVER tried a 1/2 gal pot on a plant until this year. I personally have had amazing yields with these small pots, and the quality is top notch.
Check out my new thread @BigSm0 . In the Dinafem section. Newest experiment just got underway. 1 gal pots with an Airdome in each pot. So only about 1/2 gal of Coco is used in each. They will be fed via pump/dripstakes and the Airdomes will be turned on in a week or so. Today is day 2 on 3 White Widows and 3 Critical+ 2.0. They should do very well, Super excited. Peace, slow

I was thinking of doing something similar but more geared towards my setup now. 9 double grape in the 5x5 with 7 cobs. 6-3500's and 1-6500 in the middle. Probably 5gallon pots as I'm not setup for auto watering 1/2 gallon pots. I think 3-4 oz each is easy with these and they do finish fast too. Didn't weigh my last DG`s but they had to be close if not more. Got to ease into it and use what I have.
