Would 30l smart pots be overkill for autos?
I have used 16l until now with good results but like to know if anyone has any experience with larger pots

I used 22,5 L smartpots for my first grow, and the roots were coming out the bottom and had filled the whole smartpot. Yield was from 143 g to 265 g https://www.autoflower.org/index.ph...and-auto-frisian-dew.46707/page-7#post-895290

I think bigger grow/root space = bigger plants and higher yield........when it becomes overkill.......good question, and likely strain related, but for some of the "super Autos" like Think Different, Auto Ultima and such, I wouldn't mind giving a 200 L pot a go........

Honestly you probably couldn't go wrong, you would have to add more water to get drainage at bottom to keep all soil moist so you don't make any air pockets, but if you can keep up with the water you could get a bigger root system and could lead to a healthier and maybe even a bigger plant and crop!!!!!! Give it a try to see what could happen!

Yeah, I would throw in 1 or more Airdomes to assist.
