New Grower 3rd grow: samsaura thunder bloody mary

My hands are unsteady and I don't feel comfortable with the seed like that. I will get the Hanna Combo this weekend.

Is that plant in picture 1 still in your original soil mix?

No. That stuff is gone. It is the youngest creamatic transplanted into stright promix. It is starting to standup a bit since last night. I have another problem. The bag I thought had a dud in it has a sprout along the side of the bag and a seed in the middle. If the seed pops should I try and fit another bag in the tent? or give up on the cream and move the new plant into its' place? Can I take out the seed I planted last night and let it dry out? I really would like to save the cream. Just checked, the cream is 4 weeks old.

Given the size and age of that plant you are probably better off going with a new one. It only has about 2 weeks of veg growth left and by the time it recovers from the transplant it's not going to get very big before it starts to flower. A new plant should do better for you. Just leave that seedling be for now. Let it get a little bigger and then transplant it into it's own pot.

View attachment 142726View attachment 142725The afgan kush ryder just came up so I replaced the creamatic in the center spot. I could not afford the ph test meter so I got the liquid test kit. I am still just misting daily and have only watered once. The soil feels dry at the surface but the bags are still heavy so I will wait to water any more.

The akr looks good today so maybe the transplant will work. I just got a small air pump and will try and use this cheap ph test kit to check water and soil. I see why the better ph meter is so important, just a few tenths makes a differance. I never should have tried to get cute with the soil mix, I am not ready yet to go off on my own. This screw-up really cost me in many ways, I lost not just good seed but my confendence. Without all of you I would have given up, thank you. I hope to be able to take this grow and get back on track to becoming a real grower.

Don't beat yourself up, we've all been there at some point. When I started growing autos there was no help available and made a lot of mistakes before I got them figured out. You'll learn more and get better with each successive grow.

I'll second that, Muddy.

Don't get discouraged, vg!! My first auto grow produced 2 grams off a plant that wound being 5 inches tall. It's all part of the learning curve, bro. We were all beginning growers once, don't forget that. Think of it this way: every mistake you make is a lesson learned. The more lessons you learn, the better grower you become. :smokeit:
