Howdy AF

This is my second attempt at growing marijuana.

Seeds:
1x Dinafem Cheese Auto
1x Dinafem White Widow Auto
1x Auto Seeds Berry Ryder
1x Advanced Seeds Biodiesel Mass

Medium:
Hydrofarm jumpstart mini greenhouse with coir pellets. (seed starting)
Botanicare Coco
7.5l Air Pot

Nutrient:
General organics go box

Lights:
Hydrofarm 125 w t5 FluoroWing(seedling)
400w HPS

Method:
Planted seeds directly inside pre-soaked coco pellets and placed inside the mini greenhouse under the 125 watt t5 CFL. Temp is stable @ 79 degrees inside the green house. Pellets were soaked with tap water adjusted to 6.0 pH with orange juice. I will remove the greenhouse cover when seeds are above ground. When the seedlings are rooted I will plant the pellets in their final container and put under the HPS. At day 35 I will plant a new batch of 4 seeds.

Thanks for stopping by. Hopefully with a little TLC and a lot of patience I'll grow some healthy females and have a nice bountiful harvest.

welcome to afn apicalmeristem!!! nice strains you have picked...i did use G/O organic nutes, i love them. i will advise you tho they are messy! i used them in a dwc and it stunk and was just gross but they sure do produce nice bushes!!! here is a look from my 1st organic dwc grow... https://www.autoflower.org/f24/crazy-dwc-4765.html

I did notice that my solution gets pretty nasty smelling after about 7 days. I try to feed them fresh solution.

Weights and measures:
Tray - 16g
Fully moistened pellets with tray and labels - 103 g
Dry pellet - 5g
16.75g or ml of water per pellet.

Sounds like a great set up im just about to start a berry ryder also in the next few days so will be following your grow mate Also Welcome to AFN :peace: Si

P.s What are the weights for?

Thanks Si. Best of luck to you with your Berry Ryder. The weights are to prevent me from over-watering and also so that I have consistent moisture for each pellet. Probably seems like an overkill but I drowned most of my first batch of seeds so I had to put in some controls to prevent that from happening again. Also if any beginner wants to duplicate my efforts they can ensure they're using the right ammt of water.

Im growing dinafem cheese auto. I have 2 of them.. and you can see how huge they get.. i wasnt expecting it. Check my grow journal. They can take nutes like crazy but be prepared for their stretch cause they get tall as shit.

Cheers mate. I've seen some pretty incredible pics of this strain here on AFN definitely counting yours. Can't wait to see how mine do.

it is one of the biggest mistakes newbies make. watering by weight is an excellent way of determining when to water. i have done this since i 1st drowned my plants as a newbie...i just simply go by feel, i can feel how heavy they are when i water them and in 3-4 days they will be much lighter and lets me know to water/feed them again. you must make sure they are drying out enough tho, mj likes to go dry. often then not i will allow a few of the bottom leaves to just start to wilt at the 1st of the grow and determine how many days that has been to get my barrings. usally it will be the bottom leaves that start to wilt 1st, allow them to just start to wilt from dehydration wont hurt them once...but do not continue to practice it...by doing so you can get an understanding of how much and when to water...

Excellent advice. I noticed that Dutch Passion waters their plants in a wet/dry cycle like you describe. You can see it clearly on their time lapse videos they post on YouTube. They seem to know what they're doing when it comes to growing cannabis.
