SeedBank :

Dutch Passion

Strain:

fresian Dew

Did it autoflower?: Photoperiod

Soil/hydro:

Cheapest i could find ! With root grow mycorrhizal

Nutes:

Biobizz bloom and topmax. Also used a seaweed extract

Light (kind and schedule):

Crap uk sun !

From seed to harvest date: April to end of sept, cut early due to weather too.

Dry Yield: 40 to 70g lost some to mould too probably 20 - 30 %. The one in the 30 litre planter yielded 40 grams of green buds where as 2 of the 70 litre grow bag plants yilded 70 grams of deep purple buds. The half purple half green pheno had the worst mould problems but still pulled in over 60 grams whereas the tallest pheno which had the best mould resistance only produced 60 grams of small buds
Im happy that this will last a year !

High/Effect Duration: 3 hours easy

In-depth

easy to grow and very rewarding. Gorgeous purple to green buds.
RATE SCALE: * bad to ***** good

BAG APPEAL: *****

deep purple buds to good frosty green erb !

THE GROWTH: ***

they need space and lots of soil to get big but these 4 where crammed in and suffered as a result to mould. Im sure you could leave them to their own devices and youd still get a result. Cloches worked too with the totally outdoor fresians yielding 20grams each.

THE SMELL: *****

Grapefruit to pear to lavender totally unique and turns heads! Ive got all the wags of the local growers begging for swaps its that good, organic sun grown weed is the best, im getting addicted to sniffing the jars i really am. the half green half purple pheno has the strongest floral taste.

THE SMOKE: ****
Floral aroma and smooth, fruity tastes going in then floral lavender on the exhale

THE HIGH: ***

Not overpowering but unbalancing ! 1st ten to 30 mins is getting high then a 2 to 3 hour body stone.

This is the third year in a row ive grown Fresian Dew and im not planning on stopping ! Always produces, doesnt need much attention till september (which is handy if your growing autos too) and has wonderful colourations accross the phenotypes.
Cheers Dutch Passion

thanks for the review...i really want to grow this beauty outdoors this next season!!:High 5:

she sounds great:smokebuds:

Was this a purple strain or was that beautiful coloring from the drop in temp?

How comes in 6 months they only yielded 40 to 70g? I had a friend growing these in Italy and yielded 100g each

It all depends...

September is always bad for sunshine and mould always comes early.

Bgrow those 4 buds are from each plant, fresians are usually purple or lylac if you go to my gallery theres a good temp drop yellow and purple plant from last year, worth a look!
