Who had opinions on utilizing a 50/50 ratio for growing mediums, without addition of extra aeration or supplemental nutes?

I like blends, but never tried straight up 50/50 blend with no added aeration. Only either bit of soil with coco(and biotabs in autopot) and i have thrown a bit of coco to mostly soil and once i tried about 50/50 with added perlite. But the problem is that it does not help much at all with anything, but just forces you to water more often. You will also need to start using nutes earlier, because coco has none. You might also need to add some cal-mag, which you might not have to add with soil only.

Small amount of coco with soil can make the soil less hot, if it has tons of nutes in it. You can also just put some on top layers, so that the seedlings wont burn, but have more nutrients when roots grow a bit more. But you can also do the same with other seedling soil instead of coco, like with biobizz light mix.

Idea of a bit of soil with coco was just to have more organic matter there for biotabs and its beneficial bacteria. To give bacteria something to chew in case biotabs run out, because coco offers them no food. Quite impossible to say if it helped, because i havent compared it to pure coco in autopot and biotabs, and because i also added other liquid nutes, but it seemed to work. Just not sure if the small amount of soil in there gave it any extra or not.
