It finally sank to the bottom of the cup about 20mins ago just gonna wait for the tap root to show itself and shes going in the dirt I got a air stone going in my container of tap water ph is high 7s put a little lemon juice in and got it aroind 6.7 now gonna test again later see if it stays there. I have about 2 and a half 3 gallons of water in there and I put a cap full of lemon juice and it droped from 7.8 to 6.5 6.7. I dont have any other way to change my ph and like someone was saying my soil is gonna be acidic so I may not need to have a ph up. Ill check back when its almost planting time im gonna use tweezers to put seed in hole I taped the ends to be safe dont want to cut into it

Hey man thats good to hear, any pictures at all?? it would be nice to see your progress. yes you would be best to buy some ph up and down as for keeping your tap water ph stable if your using an air stone or air pump in your water container this should maintain your ph after using ph up or down to stable it. You shouldnt have to ph to much after that. I only ever mist for a couple of days after the seedling is sprouted, the key is to keep the soil moist but not damp/wet. Only mist around close to the seedling but not directly under her as you want the roots to spread out and search for water. A little at a time is good dont over do it i hope this helps man best of luck with the rest of your grow.

Thanks brian I should have some pics up im working from my phone on here my laptop is old but I just got a app for this forum and put up a few pics but thanks I didnt relize to water around it to get it to root out I have a squeeze bottle that holds id say 12 oz of water in it im using to water with I got my water at around 6.5ish I think I have the strips im using so I gotta kinda guess but I added a small amount of molasses to the water about 2 or 3 Tbsp to 6 or 7 gallons of water and till I can get to a store that has ph up and down im going with my lemon juice the one store only had the up and I need down I dont know if theres a different organic product that is more stable than lemon juice anyone can recommend I put it in Saturday night and the ph has been the same up untill I tested this morning but I test ever time I water and I got a tomato ph test for soil where u add a capsules of powder to the test tube of soil and water and tjere are 4 tests for ph then the 3 main nutes to watch for N K P ill wait a week or two to do those but I happy wherr im at right now I have my fan pounding the little thing with air to make the stem strong as podsible possible I did notice a couple fruit flies or nhats run up the side when I watered any good insect killer I can use for the room either to put in soil or a trap for in the grow area

Just be carefull when adding molasses so soon, i would wait till they are at leat 14 days old before i add anything besides ph up and down to the water as you might burn or damage the young seedling. Also i would make sure the fan is not blowing on the girls directly make sure its blowing air around the room and not at the plants this helps the plants get nice and strong without knocking them over in a young age or causing damage.
Be carefull of fungas gnatts they can be a pain they multiply very quickly and are hard to get rid of when they are in full numbers. I use a product called gnatt off and it has worked in the past for me, you just put it in with your feed after 2 weeks the gnatts will be dead but you must watch for them as one adult can lay something like 300 eggs in the soil in turn the larvae then hatch and feed off your root system. Make sure to hang yellow and blue fly catchers just above the plant canpopy this will help with killing the adults.
Good job so far man they are looking nice and healthy.
