Picture says it all, both are 3500k. 90cri on the left. Both clones of same variety, started at same time in DWC, lights kept same distance from canopy. This is stolen from another forum, not my grow. I should mention the chips used in this comparison are the citizen clu048-1812's.

Yea, I am too impressed by 90 CRI. Although calculators shows "less lm/W", because of 400-700nm range. But we know plants uses more broad spectrum than 400-700nm.

It looks as if you lose more than you gain with the higher cri.. Also higher red during veg will promote more strech... Which is what the pic is showing, i believe.. Depends on what u want out of your plants i guess.. Short and wide or tall and thin.. Funny i want the complete opposite from my women as i want from my plants... Hahaha..
Cheers

Its hard to know if the pic is showing more stretch, or just plants growing faster/larger. Should know better in another month or two, when the weights come in! Would be interesting to use a branch on each plant and measure average inter-nodal length difference between the 2 plants.
