Every BT seed I’ve grown has popped the surface in around 36hrs. 12 hrs wet paper towel then 24 in the dirt and I’ve had seedlings.

Hmm well when I germed it went into the peat pods and straight into soil I haven't paper towel started since the first 2 plants. So I can't judge from there. Kinda just waiting to see what they look like when flowering starts we'll all see together lol

I second anything cobs for lighting. Especially with a 350 budget, thats one nice light!

If youre set on cmh at least opt for the 630, a few dollars more now will save you from upgrading in the long run.

Couldn't afford the 630

I bought a 315w for $290 and idk I feel good about it. @SHRED crushes it with a 315 and honestly I was just looking for better growth and yields but still only growing for myself and my sister's so I'm ok with just the small bump in production. Honestly I'm getting along good with this 8 bulb t5 but I want to be able to let the plants grow up since the t5 has to be super close in order for lower buds to fatten up

I did drop it to about 30 inches above the canopy I feel like I should drop it a couple more inches to around 25ish
