Stay the course, water only but gave a light rinse of bone meal liquid to the NQ, she looks to finish first. Will do the same for g14 tomorrow, then looking at a heavier rinse out with the hose in another week or 10 days.

Portal Bud Blast is up and running in the Dragon Meds forum, pics and tunes to follow there with the new run, they're off to a good start.
Thanks for your interest. :peace:

Beautiful! [emoji106] [emoji108]

Quick question, do you hose the plants with water? I'm not sure I understood what you said.

Yeah, @witchyhour , what I mean to say is that I want to flush the plants at the end, organic or not I think it's important. .... I've been handed plenty of "organic " buds in my life that had poor flavor--stuff builds up. In this case, it's mostly in the soil itself, but I have top drenched some things earlier in the grow, so I will either dump buckets through or rinse the soil with the hose the last week thereabouts.

You didn't think I was going to spray the buds with the hose, did ya?

The reason you don't have to flush with organics is that there is no salt build up. You can run all the water through the soil that you want, you aren't going to "wash" anything out of it per se. I totally get what you are saying though about getting "organic" buds that had poor flavor but that could be lots of things, but most probably it wasn't organic bud to start with, but could have been dried too fast or not cured properly stuff like that is more likely than you getting bad tasting organics because it wasn't flushed if that makes sense. Oh and those things are FROST MONSTERS!!! Rep slap coming your way for sure!

@derek420colorado , I totally understand what you mean. In this case, I've done a few previous top drenches. When I rinsed through, I was getting fairly dark colored water rinsing out, I think it's from the humic product, which also has kelp in it. With the water being so dark washing out, I feel the rinse was needed. But yeah, otherwise, there's not much that can be washed out of the soil, I agree.

I know, it sounds crazy, but I just saw someone who rinses the buds after harvest?

Yeah, I've heard of that too, never have wanted to do that but you can technically try and wash off contaminates, caterpillar poops or whatever after chopping the buds.

You can full on water cure buds if they're full of chems too, helps draw out the chemmy from what people say. I would never consider going back to chems though now that I'm onto complete soil growing.

I've been rinsing my harvests every time. Just a gentle rinse with hydrogen peroxide to clean my outdoor buds off. Just like you said Mediscrogs, washing off caterpillar poop and bugs, dirt etc.

Here is a video of Jorge Cervantes doing it...

Nice, squatty, that's a good little vid. I'll keep that in mind, may want to salvage bud sometime. I usually have enough on hand that I just trash it if there's any problems. It hasnt been too bad this year though, as far as the caterpillars go, the bTi seems to be keeping them in check pretty well.
