A Garden Of Goodies

Thanks, @Grim Reefer , it's been a lot of fun this year. Happy with the strains too, Stone Dragon is awesome stuff and the Ripley's OG is a good one too, potent effects and good yield, really unique aroma. It's all still curing but those are both excellent. Highly recommend Stone Dragon though, amazing strain.

just put some of that dragon in a smaller jar ad stash it for 2-3 months or whatever after burping n stuff. POW!! super awesome man. hell i know yer not slamming kind soil bro, hell i wannna try Kis organics too one day,i know there are many companies out there with some solid background and products, but just dont have a lotta cash to try em all. but thanks to these trial I have been able to use others as other would want to try. tier, plain coco, thick, shallow and all in between with no layers and so on. so we get a variety of feedback. I would wanna do the same with all them like KIS. the end product and the end plant result is the key and your results were stellar. so there it is!

Eyes, thanks for your replies.

Thanks everyone for your interest, likes and comments. I won't bore you with details about the soil, I was trying to give a cost analysis as I think that's helpful.

And, I'm not trashing kind soil -- to be clear, again.

I am going to trial the kis soil at full strength, I'll let the plants show us how well that works. I do this for fun and for top shelf meds.

Thanks again for your feedback and interest, AFN. Have a nice weekend everybody :jointman:
I didn't mean you were boring me, I just thought it was funny because I was stoned and felt like that Snoopy character. :)

Cool, thank you. When I started looking into an organic run, I read about others burning their autos in hot soil, makes a fella feel cautious and want to test the waters. Will be fun to see what full strength does...:goodluck:

Love the Muay Thai! Wish I had popped some of my seeds this year but had others in line before it, maybe next year.

This is only my third year growing but I started with TLO organics. I made up some fresh TLO soil the past two years but decided to re-use the same pots and soil this year. I did amend the soil a bit with a little of the base ingredients of the TLO mix. I am interested in the no till aspect but was afraid to commit all the pots to that.

Earlier in the spring, I took a shovel and drove it down the middle of the pots cutting an "X" through the soil to the bottom of the pots. I poured some manure, the base ingredients, some compost and EWC down the cut and let that sit for a couple months.

These damn Copacabanas have been in the pots since May and look like they'll need four weeks more minimum. In general they seem to be doing alright in that soil but who knows, maybe they're taking so long because of the amended soil? I'm glad I started them early. I am giving them Neptune's Harvest fish and kelp and some other organic liquids but keep it to a minimum if I can.

Thanks once again Mediscrogs for the complete grow journals. I've been able to follow your last year grow week to week to estimate where my Copas are going.

Here they are a couple days ago, I think about day 120.

Nice, squatty, was wondering how your plants were doing. I'm surprised how long they're taking, but man look at the size. They look really good, I'd continue doing what you're doing, and make sure they're getting plenty of P.

Nice pics, they do look good from here. Mine was 10 zips, looks like you have a chance at joining the 1 lb. auto club, hope they get it on quick and finish for you already. Do drop in again with pics any time bro, I want to see them again in a couple weeks
:pass:

One of those would have been more than enough for me. I need to get better at culling plants, and planting variety. Its just so hard looking at all the potential in a beautiful healthy plant and then chopping it down!

In my picture there is one photoperiod plant behind the two Copacabanas. That one photo plant came from starting four seeds. After males, runts, etc., I ended up with the one plant. The Copacabanas on the other hand, I started with two seeds and got those two Amazonian girls! I'm just happy to be able to do this legally in my backyard. What fun!
