Hi all,
Been in the background for far too long, almost a year now, and figure it's about time to come out of the shadows and start participating.
My cultivation interests go as far back as I can remember, from my first experiences consuming, flipping through pages of HT & CC mags, glaring at those seemingly unattainable flowers, there's always been an interest in creating - from a pragmatic/fiscal perspective but more so from the satisfaction of getting your hands dirty, investing the time and effort to yield something that's uniquely yours.
In my youth, I tried my hand at a couple of outdoor grows, both of which unfortunately were stolen after months of effort. Fast forward 2 decades later, in anticipation of legalization (Canadian), I gave it another go at an outdoor grow this past summer. Two sequential rounds of 5 autos from seed to fruition and the bug has bitten, hard.
Decided to take it indoors this winter for my first ever indoor grow. A small 2*4*4 tent, 2 - 288.2 v2 QB's, running ~160w early veg to ~200w through flower. I ran 2 Delicious Seeds Auto Dark Purples, 1 World of Seeds Sugar Mango Ryder and 1 Dutch Passion Glueberry OG, all in 5gal smart pots, planted in a mix of Root Farm, perlite and worm castings (40-20-20), solely fed with Root Farms base and veg nutrients - yes, the generic big box Root Farm products available at local hardware stores. Anyways, here are some pics from the current run, only the DP is still standing. Looking forward to commencing with a proper journal on my next round +/- 3 weeks.
