New Grower A spiffy journal. [FastBuds Green Crack and Girlscout Cookies, 1st grow]

Hahaha I thought the same when I moved here.
We've been lucky it's been so nice this winter. This week was great, stayed over 0. Bought some actual snow pants this year too and I'm mad I went 3 winters without them. :crying:

Hoping to order my soil next week!
My wife visited Wisconsin a couple of winters ago. She thought I was crazy when I took her to the sporting goods store and bought her thermal underwear, snow pants, jacket, sox, gloves boots and hat and goggles. Two hours after her plane landed she had it all on and texted me a big thank you.

Hahaha, I can believe it. A couple moved up here from my home state and they both keep egging in about how it's not that bad and all. They've got another thing coming. This winter has been the mildest I've seen so far. I don't even think we've gotten six inches this year, and it's barely gone under -10.

Ordered my kind soil, should be here within 2 weeks. We're still kind of smacked in the face as far as our bills go, one thing always happens afrer the next. I now need maintenance on my car to see what's up with my traction.
But I figure.. I can spend 30 now.. 20 in a couple weeks for the RO and the pots, and in a few months hopefully I won't have to buy bud anymore. I smoke a half an oz a week.... that's 150 dollars a week. I think I can sacrifice 30 bucks if I can sacrifice 150. Worse comes to worst, I can do without some bud for a couple weeks if anything else decides to invite itself into my checkbook.

Hopefully the car won't cost you as much. Just buy stuff as you can, are you getting cloth or plastic pots? It will pay off in the long term.

Hopefully not, but that's what good credit is for. I'm buying cloth, same as the ones I have but 3 gallon instead of 7. That's pretty much what I've been doing, just had a halt for a while

I understand completely. Once you accumulate all the basics it's much easier on the pocket.
