Whats up AFN, ill be testing this trim bin for a bit to see what its really made of.

Out of the box i jave the 3 bins the brush and the scissor scrubber.

Upon inspection the product arrived just as advertised and has the 150 micron screen.

Today was my first use. I trimmed a few OZ heisenberg special and double grape from mephisto.

I chopped the plants whole and let dry upside down for a week. Then tossed them in the trim bin. I opted not to use the top grated bin with collector bag inder it. I want to collect some kief from my trim then bag seperately and blast the rest to make sure nothing is left behind.

The plant was placed in the screen bin with collection bin under it and the trimming process started.

All of the bids were trimmed from stems and piled to one side of tje bin.

I trimmed normally and the bin did a great job keeping everything contained.

Halfway through the job i jad to leave. The bin was great and simple enough being able to just place back in the drying tent til later then pick right back up where i left off.

After all the buds were trimmed the remaining trim was ran across the screen for a few min then piled in the middle as i lightly tapped the screen to help the kief fall through

The pollen was caught in the bottom bin and collected...

My thoughts on the bin so far are this. It is a great product.

The words "must have" wanted to pop out til i thought of the everyday grower. Most dont have the funds for all the extras and this is def an extra. BUT it pays for its self. The collected trichs that wpuld normally get away in trimming help to pay. So as i dont consider it a mist have i consider it a product that as soon as you have lights, pots, a good tent and proper exhaust.... make it one of your first extras. It makes the process of trimming easier. And that goes a long way in gardening ....

Also the scissor scrubbers. I was not i.pressed with them. The gummed up trimmers is a problem only boiling water and alcohol can take care of and i do not reccomend spending your money on this or any other product on the market currently that claims to help clean trimmers.

I used the scrubber after every 3 to 5 buds trying to give them a shot and see if it would salvage trichs or clean the shrears and neither happened.

:d5: :gary::d5: --great first run impression review brudda, in classic A-T' style too- :woohoo1:- loved the kief writing! And what a pair of candidates for testing- :clapper: ... Good observation on how handy and convenient this product is when you have to set things aside,... Did you find the ergonomics of the design effective? I believe that's one of it's key features... awkward hand positioning can wear you down quickly on what's already a tedious task! ..seems like components and fit are good quality... how was that brush at collecting? If it was effective and gentle as I think, I'll have to go score one some for other uses! Okay, after FD's review, now your's, I'm going to have to give serious consideration to this product,.. I usually fully process bud fresh, which makes for something of an elaborate set-up and some neck/upper back strain, ...thinking how Trim Bin could help on both accounts! ... *( just realized, did you put alcohol in the scrubber?-)
......... :thumbsup::greenthumb::thumbsup: -- nicely done A-T'! :thanks:

Lol no alcohol in the scrubber oops ....

The brush was great for collecting the keif worked just as advertised. I was worried some may get caught in or or be left behing but that was not the case.

The ergonomics are fine. I didnt come across anything and have a negative thought so thats great.

The company should do an option for an XL bin. I know some would appreciate that

..sleep posting,...... I actually got one of those fan brushes! I have some dry ice work to do, so it's good to hear it works well,..It makes sense, that thin membrane over the trich head is tough enough to take some gentle contact, but any scraping sheering force or pressure will rupture it,... why didn't I think of this before?! ..... An XL bin would be a great addition,..wouldn't be surprised if it's in the works,.. or a multi-person unit? Friends don't let friends trim (slave away) alone!

:baghead: hey blondie, pass me the alcohol, plzzz,... :haha::haha::haha: .... I know, I know-- :finger: me,... :crying:.... right, night-O then,...

Ok had another trim session today with the harvest more trim bin. The unit is still holding up just fine as you would expect. The screen has had 4 large plants trimmed on it dry and the screen isnt clogged yet and didnt require cleaning. Heres the process.

Critical 2.0 was placed in the bin.

She was trimmed to nugs, the stems stripped of calyx and then discarded. After the trim of nugs they are pushed over to the side and the trimming begins on the opposite side.

Once trimming is done the shake is ran over the screen for a few min then saved to blast for bho later.

The process was then repeated with the Magic Strains Bubba Trouble...

Thennthe trichs are collected in a small mason jar for my future moon rock trial.

Again didnt fint the screen and bag bin useful so it was left out. But the base unit of screen and collector with brush is legit in my book. Very nice product in my opinion still...

@L0wbob2017 I picked up 3 off of Amazon for a pretty decent price. Amazon sells the base unit, used by @A-Train in the trials, no extras (top most tray with bags or scissor scrubbers). I have been very happy with my purchase & it also makes shucking seeds a breeze!
