Whats up AFN, ill be testing this trim bin for a bit to see what its really made of.
Out of the box i jave the 3 bins the brush and the scissor scrubber.
Upon inspection the product arrived just as advertised and has the 150 micron screen.
Today was my first use. I trimmed a few OZ heisenberg special and double grape from mephisto.
I chopped the plants whole and let dry upside down for a week. Then tossed them in the trim bin. I opted not to use the top grated bin with collector bag inder it. I want to collect some kief from my trim then bag seperately and blast the rest to make sure nothing is left behind.
The plant was placed in the screen bin with collection bin under it and the trimming process started.
All of the bids were trimmed from stems and piled to one side of tje bin.
I trimmed normally and the bin did a great job keeping everything contained.
Halfway through the job i jad to leave. The bin was great and simple enough being able to just place back in the drying tent til later then pick right back up where i left off.
After all the buds were trimmed the remaining trim was ran across the screen for a few min then piled in the middle as i lightly tapped the screen to help the kief fall through
The pollen was caught in the bottom bin and collected...
My thoughts on the bin so far are this. It is a great product.
The words "must have" wanted to pop out til i thought of the everyday grower. Most dont have the funds for all the extras and this is def an extra. BUT it pays for its self. The collected trichs that wpuld normally get away in trimming help to pay. So as i dont consider it a mist have i consider it a product that as soon as you have lights, pots, a good tent and proper exhaust.... make it one of your first extras. It makes the process of trimming easier. And that goes a long way in gardening ....
Also the scissor scrubbers. I was not i.pressed with them. The gummed up trimmers is a problem only boiling water and alcohol can take care of and i do not reccomend spending your money on this or any other product on the market currently that claims to help clean trimmers.
I used the scrubber after every 3 to 5 buds trying to give them a shot and see if it would salvage trichs or clean the shrears and neither happened.

- loved the kief writing! And what a pair of candidates for testing-
... Good observation on how handy and convenient this product is when you have to set things aside,... Did you find the ergonomics of the design effective? I believe that's one of it's key features... awkward hand positioning can wear you down quickly on what's already a tedious task! ..seems like components and fit are good quality... how was that brush at collecting? If it was effective and gentle as I think, I'll have to go score one some for other uses! Okay, after FD's review, now your's, I'm going to have to give serious consideration to this product,.. I usually fully process bud fresh, which makes for something of an elaborate set-up and some neck/upper back strain,
...thinking how Trim Bin could help on both accounts! ... *( just realized, did you put alcohol in the scrubber?-
)
..sleep posting,...
hey blondie, pass me the alcohol, plzzz,...
me,...
.... right, night-O then,...
