Anyone using Advanced Platinum LED panels is encouraged to post about their personal expierience w these panels......Every bit of information I can get on the results of anyone elses grows w this particular type of light would be greatly appreciated......I just got my P300 in from Fedex about 10 days or so ago and have noticed a HUGE difference in my plant.....
Please let me know what strains you have used w these lights and yield and quality of product if it isnt to much trouble........pics would be appreciated and anything other than personal expierience isnt needed as ive read about all a person can read on this panel and the P series......This is why im asking people who use or have used these lights before about their results achieved and if they had any trouble along their way......thank you very much any and all help or inputbis appreciated

My current Advanced Platinum P300 grow.......This light so far has not disappointed just so everyone knows.....

nah its a eshine 3G copy bro perhaps the same factory are supplying them? give me one and ill show ya the Chinese stickers inside if ya like lol. . And as far as they go, they work quite well. Not the best but not the worst
But platinum? Wish they would just admit it innit? lol. the same old 'OUR' led is the best crap.
But back to you as a grower, yeah bro, they are ok. prone to fans failing but then what led isn't? The GN HS1 is about the only LED light that doesn't use any fans, Diaphragm cooling system,. Uber cool. but will it last?
Anyhoo, good luck with ya grow mate and don't put up with any idiots 'cold selling' LEDs to ya,.
They are ALL from china basically, maybe not all parts but most of em. USA.... riding off the back off china again.
Disgusting, cant they invent theyre own gear ffs? Apache Tech? California Lightworks... the only originals mate.

Oh yea....i get what ur sayin totally.....and by no means am i saying this is the best light
But for the same amount of money
Really personally i like the black dogs and kind........
But for the money i spent i dont think i coulda gotten a better panel .....im personally very satisfied w the growth and huge difference this light made once it was installed into my tent........
And every light does have some chinese component somewhere its almost inevitable......thanks brother i appreciate the well wishes.......hope to keep in touch w everyone on here honestly as ive not ran into any assholes or people w anything to say except constructive criticism which im always open to......nobody knows it all and by the time someone does think they know it all something new has come out in the field.....hahah......appreciate everybody on here no kiddin

Heres a pic of mine this morning before work

that's cool bro. Kind ked? .... its just a modified Apollo led, Black Dog > Mars II. they're all bloody at it. lol.
but ya right, at the end of the day, not all growers want to go through the B/S of importing from china anyway, plus its good to have someone local (ish) to you for quicker warranty repairs etc...
So who cares man? as long as your happy and getting better yields than you were before, then alls cool dude.
LED suppliers often do like to 'scapegoat' people into doing there dirty work though which aint on.
especially for those growers who just want meds.
Tis wot caused all the paranoia about leds anyway. Big claims, no proof,.,,, but now? different story.
ive just ran a test grow with a cheapee Chinese LED, generic bsled bysen copy but with wopping 12w diodes instead of 3w.
were they any better than the 3w version? ,debateable and definately too much red in the spectrum, caused the auto to flower too early and not get enough vertical growth during vegging, but I still got a good result from her and she finished off damned fast. 20 L pruning pot, Biobizz soil mix (all mix and light mix), Growing Edge Technologies Lets Grow and Bloom feeds.
all on a 24/0 schedule,. pushing it to the max.
Overall got 135 Gr dry without adding the trim, just nugs.
she was a small one but had solid nugs,,,, test conclusive, don't know if ill keep this led tho,. too juicy as she draws 600W! yup that's loads innit? outputs 1500W <in the conventional way of multiplying the leds by their wattage> which is shite I know but I cant be asked to go into par and umoles,. was just to see if more power does mean bigger nuggs.
compared to other leds? they still smash this one even tho they are a lot lower wattage, so that's another one 'LED - Busted.' lol. onto the next...
Oh heres some pics dude and happy growing with whatever you use.

Man thats one thing i have noticed......i havent veg'd w this p300 yet but the first auto i started 30 days ago got hardly any vertical growth in the first 20 days or so.......and still on say 30 its only prob a foot tall......so im kinda anxious to see the diff when i veg another w this bigger panel.......
The mars is what i vegd w first and it just got to like 6 inches and statted to bud bc it was 20 or 21 days

I see other ppls grows on here on day 20 and some ppls autos are like a foot and a half by then
Iono if thats normal or theyre good or i just screwed this one up

Hence why im excited to veg another soon......hahah
I cant stand not knowing why it turned out that way.......i had a few timer issues for the first few days but i didnt figure it set it back that much
Its prob literally 10 inches and on day 30 or 31
Its beautiful and healthy and flowering great so far
Just not much vertical action ever went on ya know

sometimes its in the strain mate,. Autos were originally 'designed' to grow small, stealthy, like the good old AK Lowryder etc.. and wont exceed 28gr per plant. etc.. nowadays, phenotypes rule some strains totally, sometimes you get small ones, sometimes tall ones. even with the same strain. Sure some are real solid and you get to know what to expect, but mostly, its hit or miss. Especially with the new auto strainers coming out,. even with one dinafem strain for example, you wont get the same constant result, I grew 10 auto blue cheeses and three of them were tall as, the others all dwarfs.
But small doesn't mean small yields tho dude, sometimes a small one can really surprise ya.
I find LED height plays a big part in making them stretch aswell mate. some like the led 2ft above them all the way,. lift the led when the plant grows in other words,. make the plant 'chase' the led.
some leds stunt the fook out of them, even when hung at full height.
some strains like to have some dark period,,,,so many variables to take into consideration. without brain burning yaself that is
Trick is to try different methods mate, key in your own led to your own needs. Then yeah, that Platinum led could be possibly the best LED in the world.... for you and your skills....but to someone new?
the learning process all starts again. lol.
But that's the fun of it all is it not?

Good lookin out bro.......i think ill try ur plants chasing the light method there and see what comes about like that
I ordered like 1000 bucks worth of seeds ab half autos and half photos but am only messin w the autos for now........i may put my photos outside this coming year
But for now i have an SODK from mephisto is my oldest one and its only 4 and a half weeks in roght now and showed sex around day 20 so it didnt get very much height.....but i did have my light fairly close at first bc i only had a mars reflector 150 when i first got all my stuff......now i have that still but in a tent w an advanced platinum p300.....and im ordering a second p300 next week on payday....hahah...so ill have plenty of stock to grow and a lot of diff strains and types......
But i kinda wanted to just try a few first and sorta get a routine established before planting more than i can handle at once.......plus i wanna be satisfied w my approach as well and get thru a few harvests first then step it up a bit.......
