New Grower advice needed please

Reu, hey buddy :) blue is right with that area LED is definitely going to be the best your temps should be 75-85 and an LED will keep the environment perfect.. Check all the grows on here inc mine... eBay buddy all the way get the full biobizz range and all mix soil.. Prices cant be beaten... Welcome and best of luck :smokebuds:

please don't go to b&q for your soil bro and do NOT get the bio bizz all mix, it is far too hot for autos and will stunt their early growth or even kill them!! if you are in the uk go for plagron light mix, thats the soil i have used my previous two grows and i wouldn't use anything else, you could go for the biobizz light mix also, if you are going with HPS i wouldn't go any bigger than a 250W light or your temps will be through the roof in that size of room,if you go on ebay you can get a 4" RVK extraction fan and rhino pro carbon filter for around £100 that will deal with the smell and help remove the stale air out of your cab, i would also recommend getting a good ph pen

It's unlikely that the garden centre will have plagron or biobizz (at least the garden centres in the UK that i've been to don't carry them).
If you're set on going to the garden center - John Innes Seedling Starter compost mixed with 20-40% perlite should be okay.

Edit: what you don't want is anything with time release nutes in. Or soil with nutes for 3 months - it sounds like a great idea - but it's not.

The extraction fan / filter setup looks good! that's what you need.

As for which light you should buy - I'm a little biased as i've just bought one. We've got a couple of LED site sponsors (GrowNorthern & Fero) so I would check them out first. You'll get good reliable information from people who actually use them (and the people who actually design & make them)

Nearly there
:High 5:

Am i missing anything for my stealth grow box?
2 x 10 liter pots will fit nice in there. Trays for the run off.

PH pen for adjusting your ph before you water! (quite important)

Oops, yes good point Larky!! Sorry bout that should of mentioned i start my seeds in bog standard potting soil with john innes (this can be bought from b&q) then transplant to all mix......

I thought you dont transplant an auto plant and should leave it in the same pot when seeded.

I would recommend that you start with one pot and not try to transplant. It will take one potential worry away - the "did i stress my plant through transplanting" worry ^_^

the first thing i would get bro is a good quality PH meter, the cheap one on ebay look good but they only last a few weeks before they pack in, i would go for the bluelab PH pen, it may seem expensive now but i would say a GOOD ph pen is essential in my eyes
