So i have finished my first grow, 2x skunk #1 and got about 2oz per plant. I dried them for about 8 days and jarred them.. it was way too early and they stuck together so out of the jar a d dried for a bit longer. The buds feel dry and thevstems snap. My probem is they have been in jars for 3 weeks now burped every day and the rh in the jars is not going below 70. I have tried laying them out of the jars for a couple of hourns and keeping the jars open overnight but i cant seem to get the humidity down.

Any tips?

Try the boveda packs , maybe a 62 % , 8 gram will do for each normal size jar

if its 70%rh still bro you need to take them out the jars for at least 12/24 hours and when you put them back in the sealed jars leave them for 24hours as it takes time to sweat and give a proper rh reading

What's the humidity in your house? It won't go below your room rh generally

boveda packs at 52% IN A SEALED JAR ONCE ITS FULLY DRIED,OR CLOSE TO ANYWAY LEAVE THEM THERE AND BURP TWICE DAILY damn caps sorry man LOL anyway, then once the cure sets in move to 62%..OR enclose them in a small space with some damp rid for an afternoon and then do the same thing OR just use the 62% if its overly dry.

no, just for taking some of the higher water concentration in the material.i always use 62 to be honest but if I had the money for THOSE reasons i would use both but its all about early proper air flow and sealed jar at the right temps and RH.,in which 62's always do me right.now this time of year it can be tough so I could see swapping seasonally to 52..I will prolly do that next season if I remember..i prolly will. but the terpenes are already there and once they reach that properly dried level and then sealed and left to breath(ie:burping) they mature up and be more prominent. if left to OVER dry, they'll lack. so ita a dance.especially ths time of yr

I think i found the problem and it's kind of silly. I bought 4 of those $2 humidity / temp meters from ebay. When i put them all in a sealed container with 10 boveda 62 packs the results were a good indication you get what you pay for. They all ranged from 62 to 78... so only one was possibly accurate. Using that one all my jars were close to spot on. Going to fork out at least $20 for the next one ;)

I was looking for them 52% but do they make em? I know ive seen them maybe they werent boveda,,,not sure. but glad you solved the problem man. I store all my pack in a sealed jar of appropriate size and they stay good for years at the right level(s)..I dont even have a hygrometer anymore LOL
