New Grower Aerogarden Ultra, first grow auto berry ryder

Well I've run into a bit of a hiccup, my ph has been very stable so far and today after about 8 hours my ph went from 5.8 stable down to 4.9.I checked ppms and they had risen about 150 pts, I immediately thought I have a baddie growing in my rez, so I upped the H2O2 to 10ml and monitored her through the day. Ph dropped almost hourly, ppms slowly rose. I then went ahead and flushed, let the roots air out for about 15 minutes and refilled my rez with 10ml H2O2 and nutes.

My question is was this ok to do or is another flush in my future? I ordered some aquashield and pond-zyme to add to the rez. My visual inspection of the roots didn't show any slime or fowl smells am I over reacting or following due diligence? lol. The weather changes have brought the temps in my closet up which in turn has brought rez temps up also. Any suggestions hope I gave enough info. Time for a bowl and a beer:smoke::shrug:

Day 68:

I ran into a few problems in the past weeks, the rez temps issue has been fixed with aquashield and 1/32 tsp pond-zyme. The beneficial enzymes have eaten dead root matter. I then became overzealous with budding supplements was on the aggressive gh FloraSeries schedule with koolbloom, I thought adding advanced nutrients overdrive would increase budding but at the end of the day it stalled my bud growth. I found a post by the wizard "wg" in another grow(paronics) thread that pointed me to a pk overload and after a 12hr flush budding started filling in again. My girl is now back on track and even though she may take a little longer to finish I'm proud of her.
Its hard to believe she is one plant but I guess her pheno is living up to the "super auto" labeling. Any advice is welcomed and needed. Sorry for being so longwinded but I'm baked and really loving figuring out how to best grow my girl. Picture time:

hey man, great looking grow. I'm on day 55 with the same seed. It's amazing how this strain is producing everything from short stubby plants to oversized giants! I'm a newb with all this growing stuff, but I have noticed that nute burn seems to be a common occurrence between day 50-65 for berry ryder. At least this is sense i get from reading many of the berry ryder journals.

Props to producing what looks like a forest of berry bushes dude. May the smoke be worth the wait :bong:

Thanks man, you are very right with the ranges that the berry ryder grows. I also have read almost every journal I could find on the strain and the differences are crazy, I think that may be why I have had the issues I've had because looking at other journals made me think I was doing something wrong haha because I have seen some finish in around 60 days with nice fat colas and some taking up to a 100 days.

She really is picky about the nutes one day it seems she wants to drink up all you can give her then the next she's like, I don't want anything at all. I find it safe to say anything under 1000 ppms during flowering will keep her pretty happy. Thanks again for the good vibes and I too hope she provides me with some good smoke for the effort I've put into her. :smokebuds:

Day 80:

Sadly and happily at the same time my first grow is coming close an end. I have her on a ph'd water flush and she should come down in about 4-10 days depending on trichome color. I like a more head high vs couchlock so I'm looking for a mostly cloudy with a slight chance of amber trich forecast. :D She is a real beast with some dark colors and looks like she been in a snow storm, I just wish she would have fattened up a little more.

I have two new ladies almost at day 21, so the fun will continue I plan to tame them a little more and this time while fixing my mistakes from this grow. Until harvest update stay stoned. :smokebuds:

Here is a shot of my new girls as you can see I switched from aerogarden ultra to bubble buckets. The ag was a great learning experience but I am now ready to step it up a notch so to speak. ;)

Even though she's bushy and stringy it looks like she's got a decent amount of bud on there, it will just take you twice as long to trim it off of all those branches :P This seems similar to other aero garden grows, and is great data for anyone considering using that product.

The new containers look much more promising for a traditional harvest dude :bong:

Happy toking!

Thanks, she is a little stringy but the angle I had to take the picture at was terrible. (that's how massive she's gotten) I was about 4 feet away and still barely got it all in there. The buds aren't as filled as I would have liked them to be(I like how yours have) but the little "test" smoke I had after a quick microwave dry had me & the mrs. stoned nice heady conversation high. So when it's cured should be pretty potent.

Now get some BIGGER lights, and reap the rewards for your efforts.
One 4-600 watt HPS would quadruple your yield over the ufo's.

Day 77/Thursday/Harvest

Well after 77 days from seed my girl fell victim to the shears. She didn't swell as much as I thought she would but she gave a lot of kolas and popcorn bud I mostly trimmed fan leaves and any leaves without "sugar" on them so I have quite a bit of manicuring to do once she dries. I am not really into bag appeal since its personal medication and also I mostly vape, hopefully I can get some good butter out of the trimmings and abv. Wet weight with stems and sugar leaves was almost 600g, I imagine I'll lose 80-85% of that when I do the final trim and some curing so just under 2oz is what I think it will be. For my first time and considering what she was grown in I am happy and looking forward to my new girls growths. Will post final cure and dry weights later. Enjoy the carnage.:pimp::peace:
