Hey all,
I'm new here and this is my first grow at all. This grow will be pure sunlight w/o any nutrients or simirlar products.
For first time I selected 2x NL automatic. So I started in friday 19.4. with 2 seeds put into small clear plastic cup filled with normal dirt which u can buy at every store. I have put seeds into cup without germinating, because I have been told thats not really important. This 2 cup have indoor sunlight from mornig to evening... all day long because I move them between 2 rooms.
In future I will move them in bigger pots and grow them outside on garden.
I have read a lot of "noob" stuff but I still have few questions.

- how much water to add first week when seed still germinating in dirt (I have sprayed first day dirt 5x times, and 2nd day 3x)
- can be something wrong if I put my cups already outside on garden... our temp: 12-25Celsius
-dirt seems to be a bit tough hard-together... is this wrong or I'm just paranoid? :)
- my cups are clear because I want to see when roots are too big and I move them in bigger pots... are clear cups OK or then must be black or similar?

So please comment, advice, criticize...anything :D When cups show life I will add pictures.
I hope u'll help me througt first growing. I will informed u with progress, so it will be a journoal.

PS: Sorry for my bad english =)

As long as your soil is damp you should be ok with watering. I would try to keep your plants in a nice 21-26C range with 26 being a little on the high end. 22-24C is ideal. Depending on what dirt you got you might need to add some perlite into the soil of the new pots that you will be transferring to. I would use some tape to cover the bottles you have now as light will kill your roots!

I used some paper and tape to cover my bottles. U said 26°celsius is a bit high... but in future months temp. will raise 30°celsius and more. What will happen then? Will the plants become more resistant?

Larger plants are much more resistant to high temperatures. 26C is actually a good temperature for seedlings if you can keep the humidity up. I'd put a plastic cup over the soil where the seedling is planted until it comes above dirt instead of worrying about misting 3-4x daily. Don't water too much. Less light on the roots the better, I'd get the cups taped up for sure. Ideally you want to keep the temperatures consistent.. 15-25C is a huge fluctuation, if you can keep them inside at a consistent temperature that'd be much more desirable until they have at least 4-5 nodes.

Day 5 progress:

1st is developing great, 2nd as it picture shows seed is a bit open (i removed little soil so u can see that) so should I be concerned about that 2nd one?
