Yes leave the pump on 27/7 it keeps air in the water and keeps the water moving so i don't go green and stagnant and i wouldn't ph the water in there cause it will change after a few hours cause all the chemicals evaporate and the ph will go up/down. My water out the tap is about 7.2 ph but from my bucket its 7.9-8.1 your only doing this if a pump to get more air in the water so there is more oxygen around the root which is better for your plant.

Oh yea, I forgot all about chemical based PHers. I wish I had a link to that thread. It was a very well thought out post.
Would the same apply to organicly PH'ing your water? I did read about it maintaining the PH in the water. I think it was talking about organic adjusted PH. Dont quote me on that. False claim perhaps?

Week 4 Update/Beginning of Day 28.

Hey, guys. Whats up. Its been a super busy start of the week at work. Nothing a borderline spliff wont help to re-energize me for this post lol.


ok, so here we go.

This weeks been a vigorous one. They have been exploding for the past 5 days or so. Ive been having to keep a close watch to make sure they dont grow into the lights. Im going to have to slightly lower the AKR after this post.

I did end up getting some slight tip burn. No real curling though. So, it was a light burn. Ive given them aerated ph'd water their last 2 waterings. No feed. I plan on giving them a ~ 30% dose of Dr.earths 4-4-4 tea to bost the micro beneficial. Mainly just seeing how they respond. I was feeding them the fish untill I notice a little burn. Next grow Im going to keep exact records of my feedings. Next time around Ill feed every other watering.

Temps- 80-86
RH- 50-60%

The AKR is definitely holding up to the heat a lot better then the CK. The CK has more signs of heat stress then the AKR. Ill wait till the end to make final conclusions but, Im a little more impressed with the AKR so far. Im sure Ill be equally happy with both in the end.
