Yes leave the pump on 27/7 it keeps air in the water and keeps the water moving so i don't go green and stagnant and i wouldn't ph the water in there cause it will change after a few hours cause all the chemicals evaporate and the ph will go up/down. My water out the tap is about 7.2 ph but from my bucket its 7.9-8.1 your only doing this if a pump to get more air in the water so there is more oxygen around the root which is better for your plant.
Oh yea, I forgot all about chemical based PHers. I wish I had a link to that thread. It was a very well thought out post.
Would the same apply to organicly PH'ing your water? I did read about it maintaining the PH in the water. I think it was talking about organic adjusted PH. Dont quote me on that. False claim perhaps?
