Hey everyone.
Let's get to it then...
I'm running 2 AKR's in two gallon smart pots; both on day 46.
Pro-Mix ultimate organic for the medium - perlite and vermiculite mixed in for fluff.
Nutes are GrowMore/SeaGrow products (all purpose/bud&bloom/hawaiian/mendocino cal-mag) and I follow sniper's schedule.
Lighting is a GN MS0006 and I run that inside a Secret Jardin 2x2x5 with a 20/4 schedule.
PH going in is always 6.5 and the runoff is always within a tenth of that up/down (6.4-6.6)
Temps top out at 78F and hit 70F for the low end.
Everything looks good except for some discoloration in the leaves beyond some obvious yellowing.
The tips look burned....but not the typical burnt leaf tip color...does that make sense?
And right behind the discoloration of the tips, many of the leaves are showing a small dark area - I would say dark purple or dark brown. Definitely not the same color as "rust spots" though.
I tried to include as much as I could in the pictures. The tips look "burnt", but I can't tell if that or the rest of the discolorations are actually burn or a deficiency. The obvious yellowing I would assume is nitrogen.
What do you guys think? I haven't flushed her at all yet, so maybe give a good 3x flush and start back up at 1/2 strength?

And I don't even have permission to view my own pics?
Does that mean that nobody else can either?

ive been having the same problem ''dont have permission viewing pictures'' for a while

plants look good , can barely see the '' burning'' maybe its an age thing ?

I can see them.
They look good. At this stage in flowering the leaves will start to discolor and die. Let the plant reabsorb as much nutrition as it can before removing them (gentle pull and dead ones come off). Let them go for a while. The buds will keep swelling and swelling as long as they are putting out new pistils.

Curious on the yield with these two.

Hey team, your girls are looking great! From what I can see you just have a slight bit of nute burn so you may want to back off a bit. When you water do you get a fair amount of runoff? If not, you might do a flush just to remove any salts from the medium. But honestly you're looking fine & maybe straight water with no nutes next time will fix you up. I LOVE AKR but have found it to be a little temperamental to grow. My last one was either hungry or overfed most of the time & had some spotting on the leaves, but still yielded a great harvest. Keep up the good work! :Sharing One:

Ahhh, great!
I was pretty well sold on giving her a good flush.
Thank you for stopping by everyone!

Hello and welcome. Your plants look good and well feed. Have you given them any cal/mag? Good luck and good karma.

Yes they have been getting it with every watering actually. I had trouble getting things dialed with our well water, so I switched to distilled. I add 5ml of Mendocino Cal-Mag to every gallon of distilled water and then bumped it to 7ml for flowering. I'm guessing you already know this, but I use it from day 1 to make up for the essentials that they're not getting from the distilled water. Do you guys think those numbers sound okay?

Those numbers look good to be. 5ml/1tsp is what I usually add to a gallon during veg.

Day 49.

Not much of an update.
I included another picture of what some of the leaves are starting to look like.
The yellowing was already present, but the reddish discoloration did not start until AFTER I flushed.
I am a new grower and still wondering if this is burn or deficiency? (just the reddish part, I'll chalk the yellowing up to nitrogen.)
I was thinking about giving her one more feeding of just water before starting back up with the nutes, but I figured I would ask AFN for some quick reassurance.

Howdy dude, everything there looks fine to me. The rusty, reddish parts you are seeing there are quite possibly just some old war wounds (nute burn/little magnesium deficiency) which is only being revealed to you now the leaf has been drained of chlorophyll.

Just keep an eye on the other leaves to make sure it is something old and not something new waiting in the wings to bite you in the ass ;)

Looking great though dude, nice work :)
