Hi everyone, I have Afghan Kush Ryder growing for 3 weeks already and it has some serious yellowing going on. At first I thought it is burning from nutes but when I flushed it it did not recover so now I believe it's potassium deficiency.
I will provide some pics as well. Can you guys please suggest me something and will this baby recover? Thanks!

Can you give more information about your set up please, Soil, Temps, Humidity, Nutes ect

Hello, in my limited experience, almost any plant can be saved unless it's already dead. This little gal doesn't look like she has drifted too far to the dark side yet. Consider this though, She will almost certainly be stunted to all hell. Too me it doesn't look like P def. Maybe zinc def, but if it is zinc deficient, it is WAY zinc deficient. I wouldn't give up on her yet. What kind of nutes are you using? pH? A bit more information (as much as you are comfortable disclosing) will really make it a lot easier for us to give you a better definitive answer/diagnosis. Some things that would help us include: pH level (both of nute solution and runoff), nutrients used (including supplements), soil brand, humidity, temps... Good luck bringing her back from the edge.

Edit: Apparently it took me 10 minutes to type this one paragraph, Carbon my friend..you beat me to it LOL :smokebuds:

hey baltic-kush welcome to AFN when you get a chance go to the introduction thread and say hello to everyone so we know your here and of your prob. a journal in the New Growers section will get you a lot of eyes watching your grow and helping along the way.

TOKE OUT :smokebuds:

fast look at your plant tells me it has nutrient burn ,maybe u would want to rinse it with water with a PH of 5.8-6.2 give it a few days [1-3] and see how it goes beffor giving it nutrients again, and i might be wrong

Looks to me like nutrient burn and i suspect it might be your soil. What soil are you using? and are you using any nutrients yet? Even if you flush the parts of the plants damaged will not repair just new growth, however like said above it will more than likely be hella stunted.

Rough Calculation Guide:

Here's some good info on ph.....
If your runoff pH is higher than your starting pH, use this equation to determine your soil pH:*
Soil pH = Runoff pH + Difference

If your runoff pH is lower than your starting pH, us this equation:
Soil pH = Runoff pH - Difference.

For example, say your the starting pH of your solution before it goes in is 6.5 and the pH of your runoff is 7.0. The difference is +0.5, so using the above equation:
Soil pH = 7.0 + 0.5*
Soil pH = 7.5

If your starting pH is 6.5 and your runoff is 6.0, your difference is -0.5 and using the above equation:
Soil pH = 6.0 - 0.5
Soil pH = 5.5

PH is always a good place to start

also u might want to get a PPM meter ,from my experience plants around that stage would take around 700-1200 PPM of nutrients ,might want to check that out :pop:
