Can you guys move the DIY thread somewhere more prominent, its hidden way the f down in Product and Strain Reviews... not in my opinion the most applicable place. If it were Burger King and I could have it my way Id like to see a whole section created somewhere between indoor grow discussion and outdoor grow discussion. Thanks!

Suggestion: Pretty cool to have a personal Note Pad or something similar to take notes on site without actually posting. Reason 1- Cellphone people (even laptops peeps) can take tid-bits of info from multiple threads without having to jump between threads. Reason 2- can helps with reminders. reason 3- if someone wants to post but wants to proof read it multiple times or dont want to forget what they want to post but can not do it at the time.

I like to take notes (can you tell, lol)

yeah, good idea, but I don't think the forum software has such an extension ................ however, there are tons of Windows, Android or Apple apps that do exactly what you want. Almost all of them free. Or am I missing the point ? I often do.......thick Penguin syndrome.......................eP.

I wouldn't mind seeing some of the best growers, take on new growers as mentors. Someone new growers can go to with problems and support. Might seem stupid to some of you. But it sure would save us new growers a lot of money and frustration. You walk into these Hydro stores thinking we'll this guy or girl ownes a store or works here. They got to know what there doing. Went to my hydro store today and was going to purchase a few things and another customer told me you don't need that shit. He explained to me what I could use and do instead. Needless to say, I thought the store owner was going to blow his top by the look on his face. I thought if it would of been the right climate, he would of thrown the guy out.

I am new(er) to AFN and I wouldn’t say a great (or decent) grower, but mentors would be cool. Problem with that is, everyone could help everyone on AFN. This place is awesome, and I would hope no one would give bad info or advice on purpose. On my grow journal I have seen were one person gave out info, and i am sure he thought he was right, but it wasn’t entirely correct and got called out on it (politely, and the other person had the correct info that backed it up). So really everyone is helping everyone. But I do agree to some point mentors would be cool. Just don’t think it’s feasible. Everyone has experience (one way or another) had it helps everyone.

How would AFN staff or even members distinguish who to mentor, some have different experinces. I really like this idea though man, if it could happen I’m in. I wouldnt mind sharing my experinces in growing. Me and another fellow grower help each other out a lot. Give each other encouragment on our journals.

I heard a whispet staff here are planning on making a complete autoflower grow guide.
My advice to all newbies is find a senior grower who has similar grow setup to yourself and copy what they do.
Most are more than happy to give tips and share feed schedules.
I grow in a wilma system- but not many other growers use the same set up.

OMG YES!! I had no idea why my screen would jump up and down, I ALWAYS lose where I'm up to because of it! Grr!

Also I'd like to see a simplified way to post videos, I'd love to do video updates and talk to you guys rather then type an essay once a week explaining what's happened, I think atm you have to upload to another site and copy the URL? I'd much rather just post it straight to AFN, I may be wrong?

This is what I'm looking for! If each section had a video section. Like edibles there could be a video on how to make stuff like coconut oil, cannabutter, how to make eliquid. Things like this, if not at least a video thread section where I can go and it takes me to a video on YouTube or wherever. I learn better by seeing. That way i can go to how to top and watch someone do it, not before and after shots. Im from the showme state lol.
