Plants did not flower on there own
This is a indoor grow
400 watt HPS in 4x4 tent
2-200w CFL's blue
Temp 80F
2 fans, small dehumidifier and inline filter exhausted
PH 6.5
General Hydro FloraGrow Nutts. Yes Im using them in soil too.
I purchased Feminized AK47 Autoflowering seeds from AMS. (Amsterdam Marijuana Seeds)
I had issues with germination and only landed up with 4 plants. I put 1 in hydro and 3 in soil.
My bad on germination. They were too wet i believe, but moving forward.
2 of the 3 soil plants are now in 3gal pots
The 1 that I didnt have a pot for was in a large coffee can. BTW this is the only one that autoflowered. Its busting at the seams with buds now. Thats another story though.
So at this point my issue is after 9 weeks no signs of autoflowering. I chatted with a friend / professional grower in CO and he suggested I go 12/12 and force them. I really had to as I need the space back for the next crop. They dont do auto's but he has more knowledge than anyone else I know after 2 decades.
So Im down to 2 plants Im trying to save. Once I changed the lighting they did start to flower but now they are looking pretty thin and lanky. They continue to grow up and will top out for the space very soon
Im at week 10 now. I did a water flush and checked the soils NPK. Everything except the PH was low/depleted so I adjusted and was able to get everything back up to mid ranges.
So I guess my question is should I leave the lighting at 12x12 or go back to 18-6 now that they are flowering.
BTW the one hydro I had going turned hermie so its gone.
Any help is appreciated in advance.
