Extraction Alcohol Free Medical Cannabis Tincture

I have found that its also easy to make stealth. People around here are getting busted left and right here for tiny amounts and resin in a bat. This stuff can be mixed or added to lots of things.

I just made a batch and thought I would throw out a pic of it all cooked and strained. Looks like honey. We have been calling it 420 honey

Going hunting for vegetable glycerin / vegetable glycerol. Todays project.......

:peace:

How well do you think this will work with sugar leaf trim?

Yea prez it would work. Would just take a little more. I mean we know what we are looking for. Good dried sparkling stuff. Dried seems to be the most important part. I just tested a small batch with fresh trim. I should have posted it. It was nasty and a fail.

Good to know I've got fresh frozen trim now, maybe I'll make some infused olive oil with this batch and try tincture with next round.

My vegetable glycerine came in Tuesday and I've been testing it all week. I fount the original recipe a bit to strong for me. I've only been using MMJ for 12-14 months and I don't have a strong constitution built up like most in here do. It does not knock me on my ass instead gives me a really nice functional feeling. Great pain relief. It is very sweet and we added a mint extract and it made it much more palatable. I'm very pleased with the effect from it:thumbs:

romeo did you have to decarb the herb?

How much did you take?

Carlos I simmered it in a water bath at a low simmer. I let it simmer for five hours with the lid on then removed the lid and added the extract and let simmer another hour to burn off the excess water in the extract. I used closer to a 1/4 of a cup of the glecyrin then the 1/8 as in the recipe. I strained it through a auto paint strainer. That gave me a really clean final product. I started my dose at 1ml and felt actual relief in about 5 to 10 min. Also like hereb4 said under your tongue and let it absorb. I hope this helps you out.

Also when you say you let it simmer with the lid. Are you speaking about the lid on the pot or the jar?

thanks

The lid on the jar. That's why you do the water bath and just a simmer. However if you do have a lid that fits over the whole pot them you don't have to add water as often. I now make this using a electric slow cooker and leave out any extracts. We got to like to flavor of it. Good luck.
