If you want the most efficient COB, look into Vero 29 or Citizen 1825 or 3618.
Or go with boards, they're up to 212 lumens per watt!

The have the Vero 29 on Alibaba , is that comparable to CREE in quality?
What do you mean by boards? Im an electrical noob, i will buy the diy kits and my friend is building them for me

Yes, quallity is the same, but efficiency is better with Vero 29 at the same current/wattage. Go with 50V or 68V ones.
PCB boards, same technology like COBs, but with better efficiency and coverage. Instead of 3x3cm COB, you get 30x30cm board (numbers are examples). If you're in EU I can help you with those.

I am in the EU yes. Could you reccomend to me a site that sells all the bits and pieces needed to build cobs? I Would like to build up to 10 cobs depending on the cost of materials.
