Aloha...i am a new autoflower grow...have done plenty of clones im the past ...now using a tent and led's..( 5 by 5 by 6...and a vipar spectra 450)......a whole new ball game...I have destroyed 10 seeds so far and only have one sprout to show for it...( its growing well on its 8th day) oh well I am learning ....my germination just got a little better after joining this forum..now have produced 2 good tap roots for planting...one was a double root and died...( if that makes sense)...can't wAit to get some input on this the problems that have and will arise...and they will..and show my progress.....have a great day shoots/ aloha..,kona boy...la'aloa

Good luck. I hope your germ luck improves. Whats your technique?

Aloha....I have been soaking in a glass and using the paper towel method.....I think I was soaking the paper towel with too much water and not consistent with the heat...finally using the cable box...but I think it gets too hot...might just settle for a heat mat...from the ptowel I go to a jiffy pot seed starter...( that seems to work well...I am up to six leaves( including round)...moved up to a 3 " jiffy pit...seems happy...still adjusting temp. And height ...follow manufactures height recommendations...oh yeah fox farm soil....leaves started to show a little cupping..??.should I worry ...I know my temps are on the high side ...i a m pumping in outside colder air...thanks for any input...shoots....

Glad to here you are coming to the island...this the best place in the world....we will have to stay in touch I live in kona ...and well I do have a medical card so I can always help your head out...if needed...aloha

hi and welcome and welcome to autoflowers.the Mephisto germiation technique is pretty popular and very similar to my way.finding a good spot can be tricky cable box dont work,so its the airing cupboard part year or in a polystyrene box in my grow cupboard.

Hawaii does not accept out of state cards....as of yet.,,they talk about changing the laws here , but things happen slow here...( island life) but you do not have to be a resident ...it takes anywhere from 6-8 weeks for your card ...so it's hard to get one while you are on vacation...the big island dispenseries are not open yet...red tape delays....as for mail order...that is a no also....been lucky so far ( only twice) .....mahalo for welcoming me...,aloha

I have a lighting question...should I run lights 24/7....20/4....18/6..??? If so when should I change... i am still in the seedling stage....( pics in earlier post) ...mahalo

18/6,20/4,24/0 are pretty much the same.people have thier favs or base the on/off time on cost of electricity or if they have extreme ambient temps.i run 19/5 just to be odd,and we rarely change the light cycle.
