Hello all,

This will be my very first harvest, Moby Dick XXL by dinafem, we are now at day 65.

This is the plant:

I cut off a small part of a leaf on the main cola and put it under a good microscope, this is the result:

I’m clearly seeing amber colour but no cloudy trichs. It might seem cloudy here and there but I think that’s mainly the focus of the lens. Also since we are only at day 65 it’s hard to believe that it’s ready? I did not even start the flush yet..

What do you guys advice?

I would let it go longer if you can wait. Those look mostly clear to me.

Sent from my comfy chair.

No problem in waiting longer, still need to flush anyway. Would this be a good time to start or should I keep going on with the bloom booster (and stop basic nutes).

Most of the fan leaves have already fallen off (yellowing).

But there are amber trichomes showing don’t you agree? That’s what’s a bit strange to me..

Check a piece of bud next time instead of a leaf and see what's happening there.

Just checked it, it looks pretty much the same, just watered her with plain water + some enzymes

ive never looked at a fan/sugar leaf under scope :shrug:just a few top, middle, bottom buds.i take it out from under the led in the cupboard or i get lots of amber in there.
does seem odd that its missed out cloudy.
:pighug:

I can still see quite a bit of white pistels so I might not be there yet. The amber trichomes are stressing me however.. I want to harvest at the highest THC level and a smoother smoke.. which looks like I’m there right now.. only started flushing today so harvesting now might be a bad idea..
