Hi guys,

Most of my white widows look ripe and are getting flushed, a couple of plants still with loads of white pistols but are starting to show ambers. I’m only really seeing ambers on sugar leaves though. Any ideas?

Thanks

Certainly looks like couple more weeks to go. Sugar leaves can show amber much earlier. Focus on the buds. Just know that you can take a plant piece meal (different harvest points), to get an idea of what you like. Harvesting earlier will yield less and be shorter lasting and possibly racier. Sample a lower bud to get an idea of the effects.

Better to snip a piece of bud and check trichomes. I don't check trichomes on leaves.

Thanks, the others look nearly done. The picture is the one the most behind. To clarify do I have to find ambers on the calyx’s only?

All depends on how stoney you like your weed. I find that autoflowers don’t need to get as amber and when the sugar leaves start to discolor/degrade... I don’t wait to chop. Personal preference. No rules.
I do shoot for some amber though. I grow Anvil for sleep meds.
