-Problem: Some yellow/brown spotting on the serrations/edges of 'some' of the lower fans. Noticed this 'today'.

-Medium/grow method: FF OF mixed with 30% more perlite, PH in 3 spots - checked to be 6.6, 6.7, 6.7 currently

-Feed and supplements used: FF Grow Big, FF TigerBloom, FF BigBloom, 1-0-0 CalMag GH. At week 2 I introduced 1/2 tsp FF GB, 1tsp 1-0-0 CalMag, 4tblspns FF BB , distilled water. Today is one day away from week 3, which I fed them today 1tsp FF GB, 1tsp 1-0-0 CalMag, 3 tblspns FF BB.

-Water source: Distilled h2o

-Strain and age: Amnesia Haze AF - Nirvana, tomorrow will be 3 weeks.

-Climate: Daytime - [77-78F, 40% rH] Nighttime - [72-73F, 40% rH] Gentle breeze over canopy with oscillating fan, carbon filter setup.

-Light used: ViparSpectra 600w LED [280watt draw], 20/4 cycle. 20-24 inches from plant canopy.

I was looking through the deficiency threads again and these symptoms seem to me like K deficiency? I could be wrong though, so if anyone with some knowledge can help, I'd appreciate it. Cheers guys

Sometimes a spot will show up from nute splash but That spot is really nothing to worry about unless it starts to spread.

Thanks for the reply namvet25, I'll just keep an eye out and continue as I've been.:d5:

Should you be feeding big bloom at this stage? At three weeks, you should only need FF grow big and your other supplements.

Well, the main reason I was using bigbloom is because of numerous threads like this https://www.autoflower.org/threads/fox-farm-big-bloom.40228/ , https://www.autoflower.org/threads/tiger-bloom-or-big-bloom-headin-to-hydroponic-store-now.16028/, though aside from that bigbloom's sub-single digit npk's it appears ff bigbloom can be used throughout the grow as it is mainly a micronutrient/macronutrient activator, root growth/health, etc. It's an organic booster of sort's, very little if any harm has came from it being continually used throughout the grow [many have used it the entire grow as such].

The title of 'bigbloom' kind of throws things off, as it's not really a blooming nutrient [compare amongst various brands of flowering nutrients], if anything it's mainly a supplemental for all stages of growth. Hope this clears some confusion up, cheers :D

Checked the leaves of another lower fan today and saw this, not sure if this is from today or I just didn't see it yesterday lol.

Nothing looks to be spreading on the others that I can notice. PH still good in various areas and depths of the pot. Other than that it all looks healthy green

:smoking: Mr. Plantas-- usually that browning on the teeth tips is hinting at K defc. or ironically, K tox as well-... but this is so minor, it's not a solid diagnosis so far,.. your feeds aren't that high, pH is fine (Accurate 8 tested, right?),... soil is pretty rich though, and I still don't like or trust that brand! So, if no further progression, just mind the feed conc. and frequency,. and potential cumulative inputs,...draw from soil isn't that great --yet! :greenthumb:

Hey @Waira :pass:, PH is through the A8, yeah. There was what looked to be some progression on those same fans, I think, though looking back now it's on a couple more of the fans, same look - just the tips/edges with that brown/orange look. K deficiency is what I'd kinda worked it down to, tryin to learn, especially after my last [first] grow. All newer nodal growth looks good and healthy.

Since my last feeding I introduced in the FF GrowBig at 1 tsp, you think stepping it up to 1.5 tsp this coming feeding is fine @Waira? This will be in addition to the 1tsp 1-0-0 CalMag and the reg dose of FF BigBloom. Thanks again, I appreciate it, if anything else comes up I'll post. :d5:
