Nice lights, but not impressive, using Osram LEDs, which while good, are behind the curve considerably in efficiency. Samsung LEDs are about 40% more efficient. I didn't find the spectrum all that great either.

If derek420colorado is looking for new and better LEDs, he should look at the light strip spread style.
Just an example is the MARS FC 6500. That style give a much more even PPFD map.
That may be why I didn't see a PPFD map on the Avici, I bet the coverage fell off quite a bit towards the edges.


edit.............I'd love to have the FC6500 in my 4X4.................650watts of grow powaaaaaa!

It is a great feature to be able to move the spectrum from blue to more red. but i am not impressed by the overall spectrum. I get way more PPFD with two Chilled GrowCraft fixtures that cost about the same as one of these.

This Is why I ask these things. It’s lookin like @WildBill is on the right track. The light strip style looks to be the way to go
