Yeah me either. I am looking to light my LAG© It’s going to be 45 sq ft of grow space but needs to have the smallest shadow because it is also gettin sunlight during the day. My bad I thought you were familiar with my setup. Also heat is not a bad thing as I run cO2 and it gets super cold here. Top pics are now during the day and bottom is it all buttoned you at night

Ok the main idea is energy savings? because it is hard to beat the HIDs when the heat is a good thing. and there will not be an energy savings if you need to turn on an additional heater with the LEDs?

If derek420colorado is looking for new and better LEDs, he should look at the light strip spread style.
Just an example is the MARS FC 6500. That style give a much more even PPFD map.
That may be why I didn't see a PPFD map on the Avici, I bet the coverage fell off quite a bit towards the edges.

I guess I should say heat isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The focus is so heavy on LEDs being cooler as well. For me it doesn’t really factor in as much, because they like it hotter with the cO2 anyway ya know

edit.............I'd love to have the FC6500 in my 4X4.................650watts of grow powaaaaaa!

That's wat I built but @ 450w for a 2x4 area I only run it to 380ish ever but I love it compared to the cobs ice had and my qb96v2
