Another fun run

Well looks like number #1 in the 7gal and #5 in a 3gal are popping balls. its one of each strain so now I can collect some pollen and continue both strains from healthy f1s. Just hoping the other 3 are female so I can still get a heavy harvest, what should I do with the males from here haha never tried to harvest pollen is their a different feed schedule for them pretty clueless.. also in my close interaction im getting a strong scent from #3 should bode well for flowering at this rate.

Thanks for looking!
As far as harvesting/collecting pollen goes https://www.autoflower.org/f8/pollen-collection-long-term-storage-851.html . I would remove the chaps from where your girls are defo(unless you want bugger all bud t`smoke)! Sending female :karma Cloud: your way mate :smokebuds: All the best...

 things are looking GREAT! Should be a good show ;) haven't seen to many of the TD x RD so excited to what they do...sending a big :karma Cloud: over your grow! :subbed:

Well I went against everything I know about autos and decided to uproot and repot in a smaller pot 2 of my males 1 of each strain. Going to get a few cfls and keep them going under that in a box separating them with a divider and collecting pollen from each.

The other 2 still have not shown sex but at the moment they are smelling quite nicely and hoping that's a good sign of females. Both have great side branching out of every node and are shooting for the stars. Fed them a nice tea again today.

What would be something good to add during flower for my tea to keep up with the NPK that they will need?

Pretty busy today with a lot of things so ill have to put up pics tomorrow or something. Thanks for looking!:smokebuds:

Well both of the ladies are looking great both showing pistols from several spots and seem to be growing pretty rapidly. Seems to me they showed a little early but with such tight node spacing they are just stout, both less than 8in tall.

If you look closely on the pistol shots it looks like some early resin glands forming on the fan leaves :cool: Hope they continue down this road.

Hopefully on Monday I will have my fish fert sample from Planet Neptune. Will be adding it to my teas from their on out. Need some assistance transforming my current tea to a flower tea. I have a few organic additions from blue planet nutrients for early flowering and late flowering but always wanting to improve anywhere I can.

The males are doing well, I have a day off tomorrow so ill be placing them inside a 15gal tote and put some cfls on 24/7 till they drop enough pollen to collect and continue with. Both look to be strong males so although not a lot to choose from ill stick with lucky considering I downsized their pots a few days ago!:tiphat:

Thanks for looking and let me know what cha think!:smokebuds:

tied both of my females down to expose some of the lowers and get some nice side branching today and also lowered the plants down about 6 more inches to around 2.5-3ft? not really sure no measuring tape, trying to get a little stretching going as I feel they'll end up a tad short.

Also put the males inside a 15g container with 2 small cfls on them, bent them to the side and waiting for the pollen to drop on either side. Kinda skimping at the moment but just layed a plastic bag on the bottom to collect. will get some real plastic and fix it up a bit in a few more days but it should suffice till then.

Anyone think the light should be a little further away or any closer? I believe it was around 18-24inch before I lowered the plants down.

Thanks in advance for any input!:smokebuds:

:cool:Well couldn't help myself, here are a few pics from today. They were bent over and as you can tell with my hand. SUPER TIGHT NODES!:smokebuds:As always first shown is the TDxRD second is the SSxRD.

Let me know what you think!

Looking great! Question why are the nodes spaced so close together? First time I've seen a SSxRD grow like that, but I was most definitely able to tell which was which by just the share number of the SSxRD I've grown and the couple of tdxrd leaves looked just like that... Really enjoying the show!

My only reasoning is the light height...? But 18-24in for a 400w light that's been through 3 cycles confuses me. Not complaining at the moment haha but seem like micro plants for some reason. Hoping with pistols showing they will stretch before flowering actually begins.

I really want to put them on the ground to really stretch em but that would have the light around 3.5 almost 4ft away and lose most of its efficiency.

Thanks for checking in Yoda

Any other thoughts on what could be keeping them so short would be great BC I wouldn't consider then stunted would you?:smokebuds:

Well with only two females running right now and the need for meds to last quite a while after harvest I decided to germinate 2 more seeds this evening. Decided on another TDxRD because im fond of the smoke and want to see if it comes out taller. And also started a Formula bag seed from my test run with Stitches new gear. I understand its possibly a herm seed but we only found about 4 in the batch I figure ill keep a close eye on it and see what comes of it.

Also got my fish fertilizer sample from Neptunes Harvest, they've been around for quite a long time producing stuff for vegetable gardens and the proof is in the pudding theyre stuff improves overall healthy and vigor of the plants and soil. Going to brew a half oz of this stuff into every other tea, probably wont see anything outrageous but I guess it cant hurt huh?

thanks for lookin folks:smokebuds:

Trying to work with these stout little ladies as much as possible. Decided to tie down both to a side to keep the lower side branches the same height. Hoping it pays off with only tops :coffee2:

After the bondage fed them both a bit of tea that's been brewing about 24hrs, limited bubbling but felt the need to give em a boost felt a little light.

Tea Recipe
1Gal Spring Water
25ml Super Tea Mix
5ml Liquid Blue (B-vitamin)
15ml Liquid Seaweed
.5oz of my Fish Fert sample from Neptunes Harvest. (suggested is 1 oz but never used it and only have 4 so trying to make it last)

Aerated with a single air stone for 24-48hrs+. Any longer than 48hrs I normally dilute with 65% Tea 35% Spring Water

Any suggestions for making this more of a flowering tea? still not into flowering but pistols are showing up at more nodes on both.
