Live Stoner Chat Any cigar aficionados around?

Probably too late to respond to the original question, but if you like Arturo Fuente stuff (my favorite is the 8-5-8 Maduro), I'd check out some sticks from Padron. The Oliva Series "V" stuff is nice as well. Of course, if you want to get into forbidden territory (if you're in the States), I like the Romeo Y Julieta Short Churchills and the Partagas D4s.

It took me two days to smoke a Romeo y Julieta I'll describe as toro, from a cigar bar where I told the server to "surprise me".
Lighting it several times over that period, it was smooth each time.
My local shop was giving a good deal on the Oliva 5 packs, so I tried them and liked them.

I remember reading somewhere that cigars aren't a luxury, but having the time to smoke one is!

That's why stubs are so popular. Good cigars are a luxury if you need the wow factor of the name and pretty band. I've had some excellent rejects and I've had some terrible mid grades $5-6. I don't smoke that much and am no expert for sure, but I know I can smoke prime aged blended cigars for about $1-2 and some elbow grease. Rolling is pretty easy once you have seen a few done.
:pass:

time for a stupid question....do you inhale ? cause anytime ive seen someone smoke a cigar im pretty sure i never seen them take a drag.i have smoked cigs since i was a kid,but a good drag on a cigar risks chundering tbh.

I wouldn't consider it a stupid question, but no, I never inhale a cigar and don't know anyone who does. More than once, anyway. I'm actually more of a pipe man, and I don't inhale that either.
