I would highly recommend you check the pH of the 
OF before you plant. has had quality control issues for awhile now and we've seen the pH of their mix vary from a low of 4.5 to up over 7 right out of the bag. Knowing the pH an adjusting accordingly before planting can save you a lot of headaches later on.

Check the run off water you get after watering. you will have to collect it some how. Or buy a ph meter for soil.
So if I get my water to 6.5, then water my soil and then I test the run off, and its high or low-how do I fix the ph of the soil if my water is already 6.5?
Yeah man thats right, i would think to fix the ph you will either have to bring up or down the waters ph.
