Mephisto Genetics Anyone recently grown 24 Carrat?

I grew one 24 Carat this year as my first indoor grow and first time with autos. Uploaded a gallery to imgur for you. Pretty easy plant to grow and took well to training. Tied the stem over completely around the 18 day mark and pulled new growth out as it grew to even out the colas. Got another week or so to go so probably finishing up around day 90-92. Temps have been pretty cool lately (high of 75, low 63) which I think slowed it down a bit near the end.

If you got any other questions let me know!

Nice. So you only water? 2nd time today I've seen coco with dry amendments for feed. Not sure id ever do 5 gal of coco, but she does look good. What do you thi k she'll weigh dry concidering your experience the way you grow on past grows?

I used a liquid seaweed product throughout veg and also used an organic fish fertilizer about once a week from about day 40 to 75ish as I was seeing some issues. We have very soft water out of the tap so I also added about 1 tbsp/gal of epsom salt when mixing in the fish fert. When flowering started I also added molasses about once a week to my water. This was my first time using this medium and it came pre amended so I wanted to just see how it did by itself without much added. Here is the product for reference, I have no affiliation with them but did like it and will use it next grow https://www.reindeersnatural.ca/Brown_Gold.htm (fish fert was from the same company) Next grow I plan to add some gaia green 284 when I mix the medium up and then top dress again around day 40 which I think should help with the issues I saw come flowering time. I used the gaia green outdoors this year and have some left over anyways.

5 gal was definitely over kill but it was my first grow indoors and I had the room for the extra medium. Ill be using 3 gallons next grow and plan to try 4 plants instead of 2. As far as weight I'm not really sure to be honest as I dont have much to go off of. This summer was my first time growing and it was outdoors. We had a nasty wet late summer/early fall and lost the majority to budrot so I honestly have no clue. Ill be happy with 2 ounces of solid buds off this one plant but Im hopeful it will be more. All of the top colas are rock solid and even the buds half way down are feeling pretty dense so Im feeling good about it. I lolipopped anything that wasnt getting much light so I dont think there will be much larf, its a pretty open plant with training.

Hi! I’m growing my second 24c right now, unfortunately the first one I completely fried with nutes it was horrible lol! This second one also seems to be getting a bit fried ( I’m growing it in blue sky organic super soil this time and using 1/4 organic nutes) and I‘m puzzled as to exactly what’s going on but I think the soil might have just been a bit hot right outta the bag? Anyways, now I’m just feeding plain water and cal mag once a week approximately and it’s recovering. It’s well into flowering and doesn’t seem that it will be a super large plant at all ( maybe a bit taller than strawberry nuggets but not as wide). Have a great grow! Peace :weed::cool1:

Not a Soil grower, but i do believe a super soil has all the nutes that a plat would need so you shouldn't be adding more when you water.

5.3 gal pots. Topped 2 of them. They're strong growers. The one on the left has been left to do her thing without any training.
Very nice looking. Look like they might max out their genes in them big pots. I have a 4x4 but ony have 2 135 watt Quantum Boards at the moment to use half the space since growing is not yet legal here. I usually only keep enough to stay under 1 board which covers 2x2. At some point I'd like to give FF Ocean Forest a go, but not in 5 gal under that little light. I'd be down to 1 plant at a time. I probably will just put 4 24 Carrats in 2.75 liter pots of coco under each 135 QB and hope they all come in at least the 1 oz mark.

Mine are `17" high, and 17-20" around. Three of them would fit snugly in a 2x4. These plants were very dense, I had to remove a lot of fans to open them up. I believe that my light was too strong for them, and I screwed up the nutes somewhat, so had neither of those happened, they might have grown too big to fit 3 in a 2x4. I would not assume that one square foot will do for these. All mine received was light training, and they became dense bushes much wider than 12". I would not want to try to constrain them to a single square foot, and have no real idea how I might have done that without radical surgery and lost yield. If you are already good at this, I would recommend that you plan on no more than 2 in a 2x4 space.

If you are good at feeding in small pots of coco, they will still get too big for a single square foot. I haven't grown in organic, so can't advise on options there.

Mine at day 74, starting with a tad of porn:

All plants are done growing, and mostly fattened up, but not ready yet. Too much clear and not enough amber on the calyxes yet. All in ~3gal fabric pots in Autopot setup.

Good luck with your setup @MattyMatt726 . :goodluck:

Those look fat. I remembered that they could get wide but 2x2 per plant seems like alot. Man I'm struggling to plan these right now XD
