New Grower Anyone tried growing in reusable shopping bags?

Was looking at the Smart pots and looking at reusable shopping bags they appear to be made of very similar materials. Looking at the savings $.88 for reusable shopping bags vs $6 for smart pots.

What do our experts think?

I'v thought of this regularly, and there squar...you should do a test grow with them and let the site know...

They will work, no question about it, basically the same material...landscape fabric works too...:thumbs:

i was worried about colours leaching chemicals?
give it a shot,but they would be handy if they work well

Got 4reusables full of Fox Farms Ocean Forest and just put a few magic beans in water.
Will keep all posted as grow progresses.

OF can be a little hot be carful starting in it.

Those look a lot more waterproof than the one my local grocery carries. I'm used to seeing them made out of a material similar to colored burlap ... :smokebuds:
