New Grower Anyone used house plant fertilizer before?

High, I was just wondering if anyone has used the common house plant fertilizers at the recommended teaspoon per gallon every two weeks schedule? Did it work out OK? Did you burn the shit out of your plants? Did they flower/finish in the right time frame?

I don't want to start any flame throwing about the mg, rg, etc, I just want to know if anyone has done an entire grow using these house plant fertilizers at recommended strength and intervals? Please share your experiences from actual personal grows that you grew. Thanks.

Plenty of people have and have found 'success' with MG and the others.
Most of those feed rates are based on house plants not MJ so you're guessing at a feed rate.
Really for about the same cost get some Sea-Grow or some flower specific nutrients, you generally will have better results.

On my first grow, I was trying to use regular Miracle Gro soil, and MG houseplant food... Yeah, I killed most of them lol. The ones that I didn't kill, were so nute locked up and unhealthy, I went ahead and culled them anyway lol. I did manage to get 1 plant to flower, and bought the Miracle Gro Bloom Food, it's the blue granular stuff in the purple box, and it did okayyy, but was borderline nute burned.

I'm not saying it won't work, I just did it all wrong lol. I learned tho, and I immediately switched to full mega organic. I'll just share my small bit of newbie crash course advice hehe, don't try using the MG soil and MG nutes on top of that during vegetative stage. If you wanna go with the houseplant food, don't hit them with it every feeding Also, I would very strongly suggest starting off with 1/4 to 1/2 of the dosage for awhile, like a few weeks, just to see how they handle it Good luck!

I know from using them myself in several types from Expert Foods n MG n Algo flash n other like Osmacote n the like n others lol..imo Algo flash is the nicest and quite cheap too.Veg 6-6-6 or bloom..wont mess with PH and run clean through your plant as a synthetic fert goes.one of the better single feed buys imo if yer looking for effectiveness , no PH issues and good smoke too.very mellow.Photos and Autos alike..very effective..used it my very first few grows along with ..but..Happy growing dude!!:Sharing One:

Thanks EOF, do you use the algoflash as directed (One cap per gallon in every watering?) or do you dilute the concentration?
