Not very often i will grow autos with my photos and one of the positive things i have noticed with my autos is that i never had an infestation of any type of insect. For example and this happened more than once, when i was growing some white widow, northern light, white dwarf "auto", and think different "auto" I noticed the leaves of the white widow and northern light being ate up by mites while the autos didn't have the slightest hint of an infestation. I looked all over the autos leafs and did not find one bug except for a dead gnat. Have you noticed the same thing with your autos?

Autos are not pest resistant mate. Your store bought medium can have pests and when you get a clone from someone you bring it into your garden. In which case, you need to find your friend that gave you the pested clone and kick his arse!! You can bring pests inside, from being outside. That is why it is important to wash really well when you come inside. In my summer months, when I come inside after a day outside dealing with vegtables, beer, bbq, and golf and anything else I like to do outside, I take a shower and scrub up pretty good before I even think about opening my tent inside. But autos are just as likely to get pests as photos.:peace:

Salutations RShackLeFerd,

Have you noticed the same thing with your autos?

Quite frankly i wish i had...

The way i see it you were lucky and perhaps the shorter life cycle of autos made a difference since that's much less opportunity in terms of time: aproximately 3 months instead of 6, 7 or 8... But once they've invited themself in you won't have months to deal with it, IMHO.

:peace:
