So this is a Seedsman freebie Banana Blaze outside in a 7 gallon pot grown in Happy Frog and using a Dry feed (for the first time). Am I being greedy for wanting to wait a little longer b4 I pull her? She has a fair amount of brown at this point but I literally watched the cola & side Buds increase 20-30% in the last week or so...thoughts?

Not yet, you have a couple weeks to go IMO. You still have lots of white pistils.

To monitor the last stages, you have to see the trichomes on the flowers themselves, and that requires magnification. If you don't already have a device, one of the wifi microscopes you can order online is likely your most effective option.

Good luck finishing her off. :pighug:

I would say a few weeks or more. Those buds are going to get much heavier. I would suggest some kind of support system will be needed.

Yeah I got caught in the picture already and had to improvise some support w a piece of PVC...thanks I really do hope they get larger as they seemed to get 1/3 bigger in the day or two between realizing I needed some support! Thanks for looking, I will post more pics as she goes along.

The harvest timing estimates by the breeder are just estimates, so don't worry about or depend on them. Sometimes, it seems to me, those numbers are seriously optimistic if not outright lies in order to compete in the seed market. In any case, the trichs rule, estimates be damned.

Good luck with it. :goodluck: :pighug:

Hey MoG....on the update things got humid round here. I saw some brown signs of and found some mold patches on my Cola and a side branch so I opted to take her incrementally. I definitely plucked all the mold and will keep an eye on the rest and follow up with a after action report in a couple of weeks. Thx again.

Yeah those are like half done.

when there’s no white pistils then it’s time to start keeping an eye on it.

And.....done
Here it is, this is the total trimmed product from side branches only Seedsman Auto Banana Blaze. 1z from the original cola and main stem cropped about a week+ ago. Very tssty...really does have a banana flavor. Will advise for totals soon. Thanks again to all who helped. CHEERS!
