Dude, I had my light low so it would not get too leggy and flop over. My girls are short and getting bushy (but they are dwarfs). I raised the light after about 12 days so that they would start reaching while they branched.
Keep in mind that I've never done this before and I'm just trying out some old gardening techniques. Not always guaranteed to be right being that these Auto's are a beast in and of themselves. I'm learning a lot and just trying to get my Auto mojo going so growing these becomes second nature...
i've lowered my light's (cfl's) to about 2-3 inche's from the plant's. it seem's to have slowed down the stretch .once the stem's get a little thicker i'l raise it to 5-8 in above until the big cab open's up then it will be the LED at about 12-18 in. but that will depend on how the plant's react then i'll adjust accordingly

Well its been a week or so I think I might have hit a hot spot in my soil or something got some brown tips on the bottom. I moved my light up to try to get some node spacing seems to be doing the trick. I have fed it a tea with some fresh sst paste, just a few drops of fish emulsions, kelp and worm castings. Comparing it to my other plants it no wear near the size but I since its only getting around 30 inches I assumed that would be.

Day 24 some noticeable growth I was poking around seen some secondary branches shooting out so I had to do something to get some light to them. With it being a short period auto I was going to snip or anything to hard. So I this is what I did..

I have been watching samurai and this one popped from a small seed smallest I have ever seen without being white. I told the place I bought it from just because I was very surprised they asked for a picture and sent me another one! That might be my problem but who knows the other one they sent me was about twice the size. As far as feeding so far ive giving them a nice tea every other watering. The tea I bubble in a med. size mason jar and add some ewc, fish, sst paste, kelp meal, and blackstrap molasses bubbled for about 15 hours give or take. My plants seem to like it I guess they haven't looked bad lol. This is the other plant not an autoflower.
