New Grower Auto Berry Ryder questions!

Ohh nooooo's!!!!!!! Had a disaster with the smaller of the two plants. While moving it (shouldn't have done that at this point) the very heavy cola snapped and brought a few side branches with it. DOH! Lesson learned... leave them alone when they get big! Don't think that plant recovered from an earlier shift in the net pot. Ran into that while moving the plant durring a bucket change, the cola caught that stuff above and just bent the plant. Too much weight from those fat buds just brought it over. Oh well.

On the plus side the trichromes were a good mix of cloudy and it certainly stank of berry. I went ahead and chopped it and hung it up. I'm guessing from the size of the cola and big side branches I'll get about 1.5oz from it dried assuming it gives up near 80% of its water weight. Not sure if this will get smoked at this point or made into BHO.

Pics of the remaining big one tomorrow! It's stationary and fatting up very well!

Mine are hanging from the wieght as well.I broke a few small stems while moving mine also.I am gonna try somthing to see if i can bring out the color.I am gonna place 1 plant outside at day 65.The temps are gonna be in the mid to upper 50's and lows in upper 30's.They sy they can handle the cold well.We shall see!

I'm hoping the remaining plant, the big monster, will finish up nicely. It is still adding weight slowly but surely. I'm working those night time temps so with luck I'll have some nice blue'ish berry bud!

Wow, I hate the news about your girl breaking! However, for noobs like me it's a good cautionary tale.

Damn tha bad luck bro ...but still all in all if she broke cause she's that fat isn't really bad thing lol ...sorry for the bad luck but I would look into cages for her bro or how to tie her together like some of the pros do ...get her some support bamboo works good ...

I had son much problems in a 5 gal berry Ryder she was hard to move around

Wow, nice looking girls, I'm so glad to find some people growing the same plant as me. I was starting to get worried about my girl because she hasn't shown any pistals yet(she's on day 27 from seed). But from reading this journal I can tell they take their time and finish longer than other autos.

Well, the plant that came down went into curing today. After drying on lines till the stems gave that snap I read about they were trimmed (VERY poorly by me lol) and put into jars.
Here it is before it was thrown into jars.

Roughly 4.5 oz in there. Not bad for a first try lol. Trichromes were roughly 50/50 clear/cloudy so it shouldn't be too bad even if it was a bit early. Well techinically only a few days from that 60 day mark they advertised. Other plant is going strong and getting bigger and bigger lol. Can't wait to see what its dry weight is!

4.5oz off the one plant, that's a great harvest for a first run. I hope I can pull at least half of that off my girl in about 30-45 days.

Thanks AutoNewbt! I hope you post some pics down the road so we can see those two plants you have mature. Can't wait!!
