Hi there just thought I would introduce myself and tell you about my grow. I am a newbie and starting with a stealth attic grow I am growing big Buddha auto blue cheese due to limited height space I plan in the future to grow big bud and screen it to try to keep height to a minimum, at the moment I have 4 auto autflowers I am running a 6" fan and a 125 cfl light but i want to change over to 400 w hps. I would like some advice as when to do this as not to sure I am running the lights on a 20/4 schedule and after about 7 weeks will change to 14/10 as this was recommended to me but I would be open to any advice as it all helps I have posted a few pictures of the progress so far and will continue to post in the future also when should I start to add nutrients such as formulex, canna A+B and boost to them ? they are 5 days old from seed

Awesome! Welcome to AFN buddah! Glad to see you are off to a running start bro!

The best place to post up your grow would be here https://www.autoflower.org/f44/ in the New Growers section. There are several experienced growers that keep an eye on everyone in there to help them along should they have in troubles or questions.

As for your question about lights and nutes, you shouldn't have to switch your lights. Keep them on 20 or 18, depends on the grower, I keep mine on 22. As for the nutes, I am not too sure about that. You are growing in coco I presume and that is no where near my expertise. We have a coco forum here, https://www.autoflower.org/f126/ have a look there and if you don't find the answer you are looking for post up a question in there. Someone will answer it quickly.

Best of luck bro! and styles rasta again!

Thanks Bud ill do what you said and try these areas for the answers much appreciated

Good deal budda, if I could help I would but I would rather steer you in the right direction than to give you bunk information bro. Kinda like the old saying, no information is better than bad information.

Exactly bud all the best with the growing I will update progress soon so u can see how they have come on

Welcome Bigbudda

Welcome BigBudda!

I've just grown out a Big Buddah Cheese (photoperiod) in coco!
I see others have already answered your questions, but thought i'd throw in my opinion just for more validation (i guess ^_^)

20/4 lights have worked best for me, so i would stick with that throughout the whole grow.

This is one of those things that people debate about 18hours, 20hours or 24hours. You'll see different answers everywhere, but for me having tried them all, my personal experience is that 20 hours worked the best.

Next grow, i'll be using canna coco pro (medium),calmag, canna A&B coco nutes, Rhizotonic, Boost, PK13/14 (and maybe cannazyme)

I will start with a very low concentration of calmag, rhizotonic and A&B (very low being 1ml per 5 litres in my case (maybe 3ml rhizotinic)) for about 14-20 days

Then i will start to follow the canna feeding schedule but start off at 1/4 of what they say, and as the plant gets bigger, start upping to strength of the nutes until i get to 50%

I will be keeping an eye on the tips of my leavea s i introduce more nutes - an over feed will show itself quickly as leaf tips burning, nothing to worry about if you catch it quick, just back down on the nutes to where the plant was happy, and continue from there - another week along, try upping a little.

A little at a time is key - if you go in heavy handed they will mess you about :D

Hope this helps a little

All the best

Blue ^_^
