Indoor auto blueberry under l.e.d with lst in dwc

day 20 from seed

ive put the lst on hold as the plants were blatantly taking the piss, i tied them down twice and both times the defied gravity so ive resorted back to a regular grow

i have 2 confirmed females but im sure you guys didnt expect anything less from me both plants are covered in calyx but havent strated to sprout any hairs yet, gonna be intresting to see how they end up when they hit the stretch period

ive reiceved a new 189x panel so ill be using 2 of them for this grow, currently im only using 300 watts as both lights are on runnin at half power

each bucket now contains canna aqua @ .8 ec and ph 5.8ish

Hey seymour, hows things with that blueberry just a quick tip with your L.S.Ting, those ties that you are using are gonna dig into the plant tissue, well from where I sit they look like pipe cleaner ties and they would be way to thin to support the branches (thinking piano wire neck!) this is how I am now L.S.Ting and it is totally safe and user friendly, the binding wire is soft on the outside so it wont dig in and the paper clips are great as you can move em left or right quite easily which you will find is very important so you have control of not only vertical growth but also allowing to direct the branches where you want em, hope this info is of use to you and I cant wait to see the result of the Blueberry, I am sure you are thinking the same of my Think different Here is a pic of my Think Different under restraint ! She is really starting to rocket now...I can almost watch her grow at this stage, I cant wait to post at week 5 in a few days...I think ppl will be surprised :booya:

oh my, you are making us jealous with that growroom Seymour. Are you going to go back to LST or let them grow naturally ? I love to see so many bubbles in a DWC, that really is the way to get those roots growing as prolifically as they will need to in order to produce you the masses of bud that you are destined to get in a few weeks !

jusrt a quick tip on ties... from the horticultural business... the idea is to gently and slowly bend the plant into the shape you want by making multiple tiepoints... I find the best stuff both for tie-downs as well as grafting / cross labels is survey flag like the plastic stuff you'd use to mark up your property lines or where electric lines underground runs...

Not tryin to hijack your thread... just throw it in here since the topic came up. :smokebuds:

this stuff is great cuz it stands up to weather with indelible marker for guerilla breeding / labeling (if need be not neccesarily recommended), it stretches allowing for growth, cuts easily (simple tear off sections), and it can be wrapped as shown above on a graft to snugly secure it in place almost like a sheath. And of course, we know bottom line counts... $2- 3 US per 100 foot roll... cant beat the price and portability!

im gonna look into alternative methods for tieing them down and get back to the drawing board

my air pump is 60ltr per minute and i use koi airstones , i think there called aqua angels
