Hey guys hope i find you well,
I'm doing this journal partly to keep track of what I'm doing but mostly so you all can give out to me when you see me about to kill my plants, seriously id love all the feedback i can get, I've done a lot of studying but you cant read experience!

Righty on the other hand though don't look too good does he :(
I shared both pots 1.5 litres of filtered rain water with .5 cal mag and 2 drops (hopefully 0.1ml) roots excelurator.
Ill leave em alone for a few days with the humidity domes on an plan my next move, I've more seeds on order if righty don't make it anyway.

Hey bro, Welcome to The Forum.

Looks like you're off to a good start, if you could, I might raise my temperatures up closer to about 80 degrees. Seedlings really like those temperatures. If you're using LEDs you can keep your temperatures up that high. If you are using something like HIDs then you'll probably want to be down around 75.

I would go ahead and put some spacers under those humidity domes the minute those seedlings pop their caps. You don't want to take a chance with powdery mildew from lack of air movement underneath. Or alternatively you could poke some big holes up in the top and cover them if they think too much air is going out the top. Maybe do both actually, your choice.

Then once you see that first set of true leaves emerge you better be feeding your seedlings with whatever nutrient line you're using and their recommended seedling mix. Always make sure to get decent run off with Coco it really helps. I guess you have a pH meter and are ready to pH all your feeds. And you're prepared to feed every single time you water?

Anyway that's a whole lot of information, if you have any questions just tag me with the @ in front of my screen name. I'll be subbed anyway so I'll probably be around.

One thing i do know is the ph test tube kit i have is a pita its either green or orange no way can i get to turn yellow for the ph 5.8 i was looking for, I've digital ph an tds meters on the way thankfully.
Thanks again jingo.

My initial doubt for right'y were a little harsh as last night he seemed to be making a real effort an i thought he'd be ok, but this morning when i checked on him he was bent over double, dead, i thought it was natural causes at first glance until i reached out an a little woodlouse made a break for cover at the base of the seedling into the coco.
Had to root the little bastard out, i wonder if theres more of em living in the coco?

I fed my remaining seedling
. 5 micro
. 25 grow
. 25 bloom
. 5 cal mag
. 3 roots excelurator
In a liter of rain water gestimated to ph 5.8

Your one remaining seedling looks good! Protect her at all costs, lol. I've been there one to many times. Sometimes we are at fault, sometimes, nature or the universe is at fault. Either way, your still in the game!

Despite my best efforts to kill my remaining plant i think she'll survive my nutrient overdose, the leaf tips look burned slightly

Gave a 1/2 liter of plain ph'd water.
I'll reduce the nutes by 50% an feed again tomorrow

Hey bro, I think you're a little bit Hasty in believing that you overfed your seedling. I routinely start my seedlings off on about double the strength of nutrients you're using with no issues. I blew up your one picture of the seedling every place there's an arrow pointing looks more like a Calcium deficiency, where there is a circle that actually looks like chlorosis caused by a light being too close. Both those things are really likely to happen if you're using LEDs. Although, I read through and I couldn't see what kind of lights are using.

Thanks jingo, so back to the original nute mix when the pot lightens up a bit, perhaps an extra bit of cal-mag?
I've 4 citizen cobs but effectively only one providing direct light, its dimmed half way an about 20 inches off the top of the pot.
Kinda poor photo hey, that bottom leaf is worse, the seed case clung on, pretty trickey to get off without damaging the leaf.
Thanks for the help[emoji106]

I run the General Hydroponics line and I put 1,2,1 of the trio and then 2 ml of the calimagic per gallon of water. That is my week 1 pre-charge nutrients in my Coco.

By week 2 I'm going 4,4,1 of grow, micro trio and 2 calimagic. I hold that till I've got button buds, then I start to transition to bloom schedule.

Well she's been above ground now for 10 days an put up a tremendous fight against my attempts to kill her but I've gotta ask the question, do you think she'll ever come back in a meaningful way? Even if i keep her going for another 10 weeks is she worth electricity for the bud i might get?
Option 2 is try an transplant to a regular pot an see what happens outta curiosity and then start a new grow in the autopots perhaps soil less gold medal light mix this time an see if i make a better go of that[emoji23]
